He has struggled a bit but he is being asked to check the other teams' top lines. I think he is still figuring out his positioning, how to cycle, etc. Also, in all honesty, I think he has been surprised with the speed/size of guys in NA. Palmieri and Foucault have not done anything for Larsson/Bulmer either so that whole line has not been effective as a checking line.

I really wish they would extend shootouts to 5. 3 just seems too short. Especially to decide a game. I can't take it serious when I only see 4 shooters total.

AHL shootouts are 5 I believe.

I wouldn't say dominant.

He was good on the PP, and then was in the right place at the right time on his two goals and he had the hands to finish it.

I hope Granlund don't have to play full season in AHL because there is not much competition to him in this league. :(

If this is recurring theme that he has average 3-4 games and then scores 4-5 points in one game gives an impression hes not really giving it all at AHL..

I think this is not true at all. I feel like Granlund is not outplaying anybody just yet. Full year in the AHL and he might start to dominate plays. Now he's just like your average AHLer with an above average IQ.
