FYI Rochester's mascot will be stopping by Tim Horton locations in the Buffalo area between 10:00AM and 1:00PM to give away tickets to the game. @BuffaloSabres will be posting clues on where and when.

Imlach a cup 10-23-2012 04:36 AM

Driving down from Roc for hockey and some roast beef. Gonna be a good day.

barcs 10-23-2012 08:07 AM

Saw some folks on Facebook say that this game was nearly sold out. Any truth to that?

SackTastic 10-23-2012 08:12 AM

I doubt it.

We got $25 club level seats yesterday for $14 near center ice. I'd expect a decent crowd, but I wouldn't expect a sellout.

brian_griffin 10-23-2012 11:46 AM

So... It appears Woodhouse & crew want to do ze chat...

If I watch / join, it will be by stream, and late (2nd or 3rd pd).

SabresBillsBuffalo 10-23-2012 11:56 AM

They're only selling 100 and 200 so yes to those levels 300 will be empty

Question,

My buddy gave me his Rochester Seasons tix for this game and the rest of November because he's going overseas.

The Tickets I have for this game has this being played in the Blue Cross Arena, are these tickets Valid for the game in the FNC? How would I find out where I would be sitting?

SackTastic 10-23-2012 12:46 PM

You'd probably be best served calling the Amerks ticket office on that.

You can't use those tickets. Your buddy should have been notified by the Amerks ticket office he'd need to contact them about getting tickets to the Buffalo game or getting a refund.

Just called Amerks, they said go to customer service over at the arena and they should be able to fix this issue.

I'd call customer service at the FNC & confirm they can indeed fix the issue. (right hand / left hand, you know)

Zip15 10-23-2012 01:48 PM

As a sidenote, the game will be broadcast by NHL Network Radio (Sirius 207, XM 92). I'll be on the road, and it'll be nice to hear it on satellite radio rather than the grainy audio through the I Heart Radio app I use to listen to games.

Saturday's game at Adirondack will also be broadcast on NHL Network Radio.

I'm just going to go down there. I have tickets that I bought beforehand so I basically have two extra tickets which I might just charge 10 bucks for($20 each value) to someone at the game if I can use these other two.

I'll be at the game regardless which situation happens:laugh:

McTankel 10-23-2012 03:36 PM

Going to the game, cannot wait!

Some Hamilton lineup notes:
Quote:

Derek Wills ‏@dogsplaybyplay
I expect @MorganEllis4 to make pro debut, Joonas Nattinen to make season debut, @PDelmas to get start in net for @BulldogsAHL tonight.

Link: https://twitter.com/dogsplaybyplay/s...71123066040320
Delmas gets the nod over Mayer in goal tonight. Ellis, Nattinen are in; Corbin, Leblanc are out (I assume); and I haven't seen an update on Leblanc yet either.

2nd-youngest player in AHL jumping from USHL, trying not to overwhelm him; plus depth at center is already there (see THREAD).
