King of the ring
I was prowling the hockey fights forum and was watching Simmonds mash rinke in Germany and it got me thinking, how many decent fighters have their been for the kings? Any memorable bouts I may have missed being a relitively new fan? I've only witnessed the Rat and Garth whom have been pretty ordinary as enforcers

I grew up with McSorley who was a heavyweight in the league, and fought with all the big guys and often. For me the best fighter in Kings history in terms of impact.

Looking through old rosters there are a few noticable fighters who played one or more seasons for the Kings. Dave Schultz, Tiger Williams and Ken Baumgartner in the 70's and 80's. One season of Stu Grimson in the early 00's.

I don't remember Rick Tocchet fighting much in his brief spell with the Kings but he was a really tough player in the 80's early 90's for the Flyers and Penguins.

Jay Miller played a few seasons late 80's early 90's.

I think McSorley's fight with Wendel Clark in the 93 conference final is a good scrap, mostly for the timing.

It certainly had an impact in the rest of the series.

Starts at 2 minutes in.
