WSOF on NBC 11/3..

Anyone going to check it out? Andrei Arlovski, Miguel Torres, Rumble Johnson are all on the card and the MMA debut of Tyrone Spong...it should be entertaining.

Tyrone Spong adding competent takedown defense would be frightening for anyone in his division. No one would be able to stand with him.

Gokhan Saki was another guy I think that would do very well in mma if he could figure out how to stay standing.

Spong is interesting..hes only 27 and has legit world class striking..trains with the Blackzillians so you have to think hes still developing his grapple/wrestling game.

The Johnson vs Linderman fight should be interesting.

Other than that it will probably be a **** show of squash matches.

That Cavalcante submission was unreal.

Gene Parmesan 11-03-2012 09:34 PM

The Pitbull with a Madball hoodie..nice.

CNS 11-03-2012 09:44 PM

Always nice to crush a can and call it an MMA debut. Nice fight by Tyrone Spong.

Gene Parmesan 11-03-2012 09:45 PM

Spong :amazed: I know he fought a can but *******..he throws bombs.

BGDDYKWL 11-03-2012 09:48 PM

Talk about getting thrown to the wolves. You just felt bad for Bartlett. I understand giving Spong an easy fight in his debut just so he can get his feet wet, but let's hope there's a significant step up in competition for his next fight. He definitely throws bombs.

Yeah his potential is huge..hope he stays with the Blackzilians.

This Torres/Moraes fight is outstanding so far.

Gene Parmesan 11-03-2012 10:15 PM

Moraes is impressive. Torres needs a finish to win.

Gene Parmesan 11-03-2012 10:21 PM

Upset...got kind of shaky when he took down Torres but avoided his subs.

CNS 11-03-2012 10:24 PM

A judge gave Torres two rounds.....?

Also, this crowd is ****ing ********. Booing for zero reason. Shut up morons.

Seriously, both guys stood and banged and put on a great fight.

Remember when Johnson fought at 170?

Good times.

I was thinking the same thing  how did he not die from cutting weight?

Gene Parmesan 11-03-2012 10:32 PM

"When I was little...." Rumble..you were never little brah.

kurt 11-03-2012 10:35 PM

Well, I may have spoken a little too soon. Fireworks in the first half of the first round were exceptional, but it was pretty low risk from there on out.

He must've had some freak surgery that allowed him to detach his arm and then re-attach it after weigh ins were over. Doesn't even make sense. He's a big 205er and he actually thought he could fight at 170.

Gene Parmesan 11-03-2012 10:38 PM

Hes big at 205 too .

Gene Parmesan 11-03-2012 10:40 PM

Yeesh..Cheick Kongo style nut shot.

CNS 11-03-2012 10:45 PM
