Game just starting now.

onice 11-02-2012 06:10 PM

Where are you watching it?

AllanMTL46 11-02-2012 06:13 PM

Atdhenet.tv has it on right now.

AllanMTL46 11-02-2012 06:18 PM

Terrible start. 1-0 Americans.

WeThreeKings 11-02-2012 06:18 PM

They should've scored two seconds before that anyway.

montreal 11-02-2012 06:29 PM

Corbin, Avtsin, Hagel all healthy. Desjardins is now listed as day to day and is back on the ice.

Crimson Skorpion 11-02-2012 06:35 PM

Hah, they put two Bulldogs players up on the Kiss Cam.

WeThreeKings 11-02-2012 06:39 PM

Great defensive play by Beaulieu to break up Hodgson's breakaway.

WeThreeKings 11-02-2012 06:40 PM

Really liking Quailer again tonight

S Bah 11-02-2012 07:50 PM

Announcer calling Quailer, Quiller thinks he's a porcupine.Put it to them Steve, tie it up.

zzoo 11-02-2012 07:56 PM

So far, I see the effort, but not the talent. No player really stands out.
Beaulieu is very visible, for the good and the bad too.

habsturies 11-02-2012 08:25 PM

game tied 2-2 !!

go dogs !

domdo345 11-02-2012 08:34 PM

Great forechecking by the bulldogs. 2 things are for sure:

1) Lefebvre and probably Therien are trying to install a system that creates turnovers for scoring chances.

2) with the offense we have atm, the majority of the goals will be ugly ones for sure.

Watsatheo 11-02-2012 08:46 PM

I think the shootout really shows the lack of offensive skill on this team. The difference in the shootout attempts is pretty telling.

hototogisu 11-02-2012 08:48 PM

Dogs lose in SO.

I only checked in in time to see the SO (and bits of the 2nd) - terrible performance. Mayer let in three goals and didn't look sharp. Our four shooters all tried the exact same move - walk in and shoot high - and only Boyce scored. Bournival, Geoffrion and Holland all were stopped.

Whitesnake 11-02-2012 08:49 PM

Does that shootout showed what will kill this team in the end....lack of pure skills.

Bullsmith 11-02-2012 08:50 PM

Great comeback by the Dogs, but couldn't come close to completing the win via shootout. Only heard parts on the radio but a few things made an impression:

1) Gallagher and many of the other rookies competed incredibly well in the third. They do seem like a bunch who will fight hard to stay in games. A long slump might take the fight out of them and they'll have to fight for goals all year long, I suspect, but they were playing hard in the third.

2) Boyce dug himself his own little doghouse with bad penalties, then maybe earned his way out by scoring the tying goal and also scoring in the shootout. Roller coaster game for that boy.

3) For the Amerks, Foligno's name is just constantly being spoken on the radio. The guy seems to be in the middle of the play on each and every shift he plays.

As I said, these are impressions from the radio, so if I'd watched the game I might find them awful, no idea. But for those interested in some kind of report from the game, that's what I got.

Tell that to your boy kristo!

domdo345 11-02-2012 09:10 PM

I could care less about shootouts, it's not like they make you win championships (please don't give me the argument of the extra point in standings to make the playoffs). What I really liked was the aggressiveness of the forecheck, particularly in the third. Coming from a JM system, I must say it's really refreshing. Actually JM was at ''le premier trio'' and commented on what he saw from the bulldogs. He said that it was obvious they implemented a system that fits both lefebvre and therien, which consist of constant pressure on the puck carrier to create turnovers. I like it. With all the turnovers created in the third, add guys like Bozon/Gally/Kristo and we get at least 2 more goals.

Nothing change, we have slingshots to send on SO.
