Okie dokie.

Alright I edited in the chart, fixed Morgan Rielly's stats.

Drew311 11-08-2012 11:10 AM

Wow, those Marlies stats are pathetic.

Grant 11-08-2012 11:13 AM

Sparks some nights looks fantastic. Others like ****. Hopefully he finds his game more consistent.

He looked like a good bet to be on the US WJC team after his play at the summer camp but you gotta think if he can't find some more consistency they'll take someone else.

Thee Implication 11-08-2012 12:47 PM

Christ. When is Frattin back?

Pretty much. That and Gibson is better, as well as probably Stolarz and Gillies.

SteveV* 11-08-2012 12:49 PM

Reilly reminds me of Phil Housley a bit.

It is also clear this kid could play in the NHL right now.

7even 11-08-2012 01:29 PM

Marlies are just making sure that there's always at least one terrible professional hockey team playing in Toronto.

You got that right. Those player stats are laughable, Kostka and Gards excluded...Dmen lead the pack....whats wrong with this picture.

The Marlies have been awful. They can't score for some reason.

BigWilly 11-08-2012 06:16 PM

Man I can't believe all of those Rielly highlights are from one game...

I am blaming it on a playoff hangover I will give them 5 to 8 games to turn it around. Then I will start laying blame on people.

Guelph also gives up lots of shots though.

Dangles McGavin 11-08-2012 07:41 PM

Leivo is a damn big kid.

Dangles McGavin 11-08-2012 07:43 PM

Sigh. Am I the only one watching the Super Series?

Haven't seen much of Percy so far. Leivo looks pretty decent, good on the cycle.

Finn looks really good IMO.

http://atdhenet.tv/50772/watch-russia-at-ohl

^^ English stream if anyone wants to watch.

maplehawk 11-08-2012 07:49 PM

Of the Leafs, Finn looks most impressive so far. Looked really comfortable and dangerous on the PP.

Leivo has been good too. Had a good scoring chance early on and almost set up a goal as well passing out from behind the net.

Honestly, couldn't even tell you what # Percy is wearing. Didn't notice him once...which seems like sort of his thing.

JAMmer124 11-08-2012 08:28 PM

Been very impressed with all three of our guys in this game. Leivo has been great in the offensive zone, Finns been very solid, and Percy's been completely invisible(which is when he's at his best).

Also, can we for the love of god somehow grab McDavid? This kid is ridiculously good....

NaiveLeafsFan 11-08-2012 08:46 PM

Really liking Monahan's game, he's been breaking up plays all over the ice and created the short handed goal.

Liked our 3 prospects:
Leivo - doesn't seem to drive the play, but he does a bunch of little things really well. He's als a big kid, might need to work on his skating?

Finn - bad turnover after the OHL powerplay in the 2nd, but he looked fantastic on the PP point. Didn't really get any looks to shoot though.

Percy - LOVE his game, simple and structured. Not very noticeable which is what you want from a guy like him. Only really got beat in the 2nd by Yakupov.

Rare Jewel 11-08-2012 08:51 PM

Nichushkin

That's all.

p.s(;))

Our boys have been good as well.

i would sell the farm for mcdavid wow this kid looks amazing.

Josh Leivo ends up being the most impressive of the Leafs' kids tonight. Spott showed a lot of trust/faith in his line by the end of the game.

He seems to have almost an aversion to carrying the puck. Doesn't stay on his stick for more than a couple seconds at a time. He's much more comfortable flipping it in and chasing it down. Great work along the boards and uses his size to make room for himself. Didn't get to show it much tonight, but he's got a great wrist/snap shot too.

If he continues to progress, I see him potentially as a solid 3rd line checking winger.
