2-on-2 Hockey: You and ???
 

Have a scenario for you. You're entering a 2-on-2 hockey tournament. You need to pick a teammate.

1) Who would you choose from your local team?

2) Who would you choose if you could pick any player in the world?

Both choices have to be active players (no retired legends), and not juniors. Doesn't matter if it's NHL, KHL, AHL, etc.

Want to hear your opinion. You can pick a goalie too if you want :)

1) Henrik for sure, Ill just get open and then wait for the pass

2) Ovechkin, Ill play goalie here, he can snip them all

Vancouver: Kesler
NHL: Crosby

From my local team, Kesler. He's the best combination of speed and skill on the Canucks, which would be well-suited for 2-on-2.

And you can't go wrong with Sidney Crosby as your teammate. We'd be unstoppable! I give him the puck and he does whatever the hell he wants with it.

But for real I'd pick Kovalchuk or Hossa

'Spazway'... ? He'll screw up

Bruins: Bergy
NHL: Datsyuk

Blues: Oshie maybe? Would want Pietro or Halak, but figured I'd be best playing goal and leaving to scoring to someone else.

NHL: Crosby. Team plan: get the puck to Crosby.

I've also heard he's a cake-eater

Sabres: Pominville
Entire NHL: Giroux

Chris Neil, he could protect me

Rangers: Probably Hagelin. Maybe Kreider
Any team: Kovalchuk

My team: Rick Nash. Even though everyone thinks he's overrated he's big, fast and he can score.

NHL: Shea Weber. No explanation needed.

1) On Ottawa: Jason Spezza
2) In NHL: Sidney Crosby

On Colorado : Landeskog
In NHL : Crosby

Since the Pats don't count, no one.

Anyone in the world, probably Branko Radivojevič
