Hopefully the game doesn't start on time, so I can catch the last part of the 3rd period...

BalticWarrior 11-10-2012 11:00 AM

Looks like Z has got a spot in top-6,awesome :)

Allaboard 11-10-2012 02:06 PM

With Tropp and Hodgson out this could be a big chance for big Z.

DJN21 11-10-2012 04:15 PM

any word on Varone for tonight?

Woodhouse 11-10-2012 06:34 PM

Leggio vs Helenius tonight; we're about to head out the door, so I won't be posting notes on this game until I watch the archive tomorrow morning.

Same scratches as last night, so no Varone again.

Crunch scratches: Aulie, Namestnikov, Koborov, Gauthier.

Rammstein816 11-10-2012 06:53 PM

Looks like some different line combos tonight:

Foligno - Flynn - Rankin
Girgensons - Porter - Roy
Sundher - Adam - Mancari
Tarnasky - Schofield - Legault

None of the streams are working yet. It's kind of annoying.

Edit: ^Ah thank you!

I went to the game last night and he and Legault were by far the most engaged and physical Amerks. The guy has a non-stop motor, which is in contrast to another rookie, Kevin Sundher, he seemed to float way too much. Despite lack of results, Luke Adam played a good game last night as well.

Rammstein816 11-10-2012 07:02 PM

Tarnasky just dropped Nielsen in a short fight. Pulled Nielsen's jersey over his head and took him down.

Rammstein816 11-10-2012 07:06 PM

Gudas takes a run at Luke Adam and Finley takes to letting him know that he shouldn't do that. Finley beat an unwilling combatant in Gudas. I'm not shocked something happened, since Gudas took out Tropp last time these two teams played.

Edit: Finley gets an extra 2 for roughing (basically instigating).

Rammstein816 11-10-2012 07:09 PM

Leggio with a solid save after Flynn got a shorthanded chance at the other end.

Rammstein816 11-10-2012 07:10 PM

2 minutes tripping for Matt MacKenzie.

Rammstein816 11-10-2012 07:13 PM

End of the 1st - scoreless period. Action was pretty limited and play was even. If nothing else, between the last 2 games, the Amerks have looked excellent when it comes to fighting. Foligno destroyed Bourdon yesterday, Finley took down Gudas, and Tarnasky handled himself in both his fights.

Rammstein816 11-10-2012 07:40 PM

Legault with the shot from way out, tipped in front by Nick Tarnasky for the goal.

3rd of the year for Tarnasky from Legault and Schofield.

Labrie takes a roughing penalty and the Amerks on the power play for the 1st time.

Rammstein816 11-10-2012 07:44 PM

Rankin shoves Tyler Johnson after a shorthanded chance and a mini-scrum breaks out. TJ Brennan gets 2 for roughing. 4 on 4 for 14 seconds.

Rammstein816 11-10-2012 07:48 PM

Panik with the last second power play goal for Syracuse to even it at 1. Devos and Killorn with the assists.

Rammstein816 11-10-2012 07:56 PM

Rankin with the tip in from the point shot by Biega. Similar to the Tarnasky goal. 2-1 Rochester. Assists to Flynn and Biega.

Rammstein816 11-10-2012 08:00 PM

Mancari breaks free for a partial breakaway. 2 minute slashing penalty on Barberio as Mancari misses wide.

Jacob582 11-10-2012 08:03 PM

Flynn has had a good November. Taking advantage of the opportunity.
October : -4
November: 2 goals, 3 assists, +3. Points in all 4 games so far

Rammstein816 11-10-2012 08:05 PM

10 minute misconduct for Finley. Not sure why. Nielson gets 2 minutes for roughing now.

Lindy Ruff helping with the line juggling?

TheWook 11-10-2012 08:18 PM

Looks that way

Rhett4 11-10-2012 08:50 PM

Foligno and Brennen give the 'Merks a 2-goal lead.

Rhett4 11-10-2012 08:56 PM

Flynn off a Foligno rebound makes it 5-2. Foligno...drool.
