The 2012 HHOF Inductees - Who would you pick for YOUR team?

In alphabetical order:

Pavel Bure
Adam Oates
Joe Sakic
Mats Sundin

Through magic, they're just starting their careers now, so they're young and healthy again. And you get to pick ONE for your favorite team. Who would you pick, and why? Mention what team they're going to, please!

Note: Expect their development, production and durability to remain the same as it was for them the first time around.

Kloparren 11-12-2012 07:38 PM

Sakic though I wonder if you had to pick two then if a combination of Oates/Bure would end up producing more than Sakic+Sundin (who would play on different lines).

AJMHABS 11-12-2012 07:41 PM

I would take Sakic. Born leader and one of my favorite players.

KingSizeKirby 11-12-2012 07:50 PM

Sakic. My childhood idol.

I Hate Chris Butler 11-12-2012 07:51 PM

Sakic is the best out of them and had the best career so Captain Clutch is my vote.

Ladyfan 11-12-2012 08:02 PM

They are all great but I remember what an excellent playmaker Adam Oates was on the B's.

Congrats to all of the players who are being inducted !!!

Bryzard of Oz 11-12-2012 08:03 PM

Sakic, hands down.

vespa99 11-12-2012 08:04 PM

Burnaby Joe. No brainer

Vankiller Whale 11-12-2012 08:06 PM

Sakic is the best, but if Bure had health and longevity, I'd choose him for the sake of heritage.

Incognito 11-12-2012 08:06 PM

The only acceptable answer is Sakic. I'm a Leafs fan, but none of the other three even come close to Captain Clutch.

WasTeD 11-12-2012 08:08 PM

Pavel Bure simply because he is my favourite player of all time.

5RingsAndABeer 11-12-2012 08:16 PM

Sakic. Considered Bure but we already have speedsters who need the puck in Hall/Yakupov.

Sakic fills a hole and is probably the best player on that list.

ReginKarlssonLehner 11-12-2012 08:18 PM

Captain Clutch.

Cheddabombs 11-12-2012 08:18 PM

I'm leaning towards Sakic but a line with Bure and Kovalchuk would just not be fair... I'll pick Bure, the thought of him and Kovy lighting it up together is too much to pass.

Melnyks Mirage 11-12-2012 08:24 PM

Sakic or Sundin. Both scored some great goals in OT, GWers etc. Sakic had the benefit of HHOF peers Roy and Bourque for one Cup (Two runs, one Cup heh) and Roy for two Cups.

Sakic would be incredible prime on the Senators but imagine Swedish line of Arvedson-Sundin-Alfredsson or Zibanejad/Silfverberg-Sundin-Alfredsson.... :naughty: :naughty: :naughty:

Henrik To Daniel 11-12-2012 08:36 PM

The Canucks have two great centers already, one of which is also a premier playmaker. What they don't have is a goal scoring machine with gamebreaking ability.

Pavel Bure.

Sedin - Sedin - Bure.... Filthy

kingsboy11 11-12-2012 08:43 PM

Bure only because the kings need an elite/explosive goal scorer.

Brown-Kopitar-Bure. Yes please.

DatsyukianDeke 11-12-2012 08:49 PM

Bure.

Henrik Zetterberg - Pavel Datsyuk - Pavel Bure

good luck.

Kegsey 11-12-2012 08:51 PM

Salic for sure. I may choose Bure if they could somehow guarantee his health.

Inkling 11-12-2012 09:06 PM

Sakic......wait for it........AINEC

He's head and shoulders above the other three in terms of the complete package.

sully1410 11-12-2012 09:07 PM

Sakic. He's the best all around player.

JS19 11-12-2012 09:42 PM

Sakic because he was my childhood idol and heads and shoulders above the best player out of the bunch.

kmad 11-12-2012 09:43 PM

Anyone who doesn't vote for Sakic is lying.

Sirquacksalot 11-12-2012 10:07 PM

Sakic.

My god we need a center.

Mav3rick07 11-12-2012 10:09 PM

Sakic.

Even though we have a bunch of centers already, I'd still go with Sakic.
