I was wondering, a lot of the time people say some player is a poor mans ______ or that some players is a better version of ______. I wonder what that be like to do for the entire leafs roster.

I'll start

JVR is a poor mans Bobby Ryan
Grabovski is a poor mans Henrik Zetterberg
Phaneuf is a poor mans Shea Weber

Kessel is a better version of bobby Butler

It means style of play if you are wondering but more/less effective than the original one. I wouldn't classify JVr with Ryan as Ryan is physical when JVR goes into the corners and stands in front of the net, and I'm basing this off of when Getz+Perry said the perfect winger for them would be that type of style, which DSP is. Your's are general comparisons, but would find a lot more equal style if I put a bit of time into it.
