Helpful Weather Websites

Thought we could post links to weather websites here....

James Spann is considered one of the top operational meteorologists in the county. He's a local celebrity here in ABC 33/40. When it comes to being up on ops/sit wx, James is the best. On his website, he has a toolbox section with all sorts of helpful links....

He also does a weekly weather podcast that isn't dry, but pretty entertaining. Give it a listen!

TWC: weather.com (That's The Weather Channel :D)

http://www.wunderground.com/ -- Underground Weather (alternate sources for temps, etc.

There are also FF plug ins, smart phone apps, etc. from these two sources.

Check out Dr. Jeff Masters blog on Wunderground. He's a pretty good meteorologist. He's been in TWC too during important weather events now that TWC owns Wunderground.
