Most underrated (on HF) players ON YOUR TEAM

Inspired from the overrated thread

For the Devils I would say Elias he was in the top 10 scoring last year. When we had Parise it was Parise and Kovalchuk as 1 and 2 even though Elias had more points than Parise and was just as good defensively.

I would throw in Andy Greene for the Devils.

There was a very, very noticeable difference when he came back into the lineup this season.

Sad statement for HF, but Patrick Kane and Duncan Keith for the Hawks.

Turrican* 11-23-2012 03:26 PM

Taylor Hall

Nighthock 11-23-2012 03:27 PM

SJ:

Douglas Murray, Andrew Desjardins

darglor 11-23-2012 03:31 PM

Karlsson... and yes, I answered the exact same thing in the overrated thread. It's amazing how he manages to be both.

zaYG 11-23-2012 03:32 PM

Dennis Seidenberg

There are some unsung heroes (Polak, Sobotka) on the Blues, but I wouldn't call them underrated by HF, just not really discussed. The only one that slightly fits the bill is David Perron. It seems as though everyone knows he's a good player, but I've seen multiple threads where people have said he is soft or has injury problems, when really it's just been one injury. Someone might be able to come up with another. Steen maybe?

IceDaddy 11-23-2012 03:35 PM

Subban

BrickAHL 11-23-2012 03:35 PM

Stastny and Erik Johnson.

topchowda 11-23-2012 03:37 PM

Laddy Smid and Hall

OrangeZebra 11-23-2012 03:38 PM

Matt Moulson, as he has become a consistent 30-goal scorer

Someone in the other thread wrote the same thing for Subban

Sureves 11-23-2012 03:39 PM

Karlsson for sure...I think he's really the only underrated Senator we have though.

franfrey* 11-23-2012 03:39 PM

Ladislav Smid and Taylor Hall.

Taylor Hall. Smid too.

The average poster on here overrates players on his/her favorite team, those same players are usually underrated by posters who cheer for another team.

Karlsson, Subban, etc...

CBJBrassard16 11-23-2012 03:49 PM

Nikita Nikitin and Jack Johnson

I don't know if I agree with that. I don't think Sens fans overrate him at all. He is in fact that 2nd youngest player of all time behind Orr to win the Norris trophy and he got 78 points last year as a defenseman...unless Sens fans start saying things like "he's a lock for the Hall of fame" I don't see how he could be overrated...

Anyway don't mean to derail, let's get back to it.

JayP812 11-23-2012 03:53 PM
