Dissapointed that Sergey Tolchinsky didnt't get a chance. He will be for sure playing for Russia next year. The kid is just electrifying and is just a pure talent on the ice. All he needs is to learn to finish a bit better and he will be a bona-fide goal scorer.

I have watched him over and over here in Guelph. He will one minute make a play that makes you say wow, and the next minute he does something that makes you scream "Cut him."

On a european sized rink even less chance he'd show that WOW.

Zadorov is a beast. I have been watching him on London and he has been great, hes physical d-man but he can also dish the puck too.

Zharkov has great skill he is just inconsistent. He will play a good game and score like 2 goals but then he will go like 2 games with no points before putting up points again. He does have skill and if he was consistent then he would have been easily a 1st rounder.

A little surprised that Zykov wasn't invited..

Same. Russia should be solid regardless, but I thought he'd've earned a spot to tryouts.

is Vasilevsky Aleksei, Vasilevsky Andrei Brother? If So I would imagine the Bolts would be paying close attention. Think Yzerman loves his Russians. :laugh:

Glad that Zlobin was picked. Anyone tell me how he's been doing this season?

Seen him play once and that was in the Memorial cup final last year for Shawinigan.

They are nearly the same age, but were born more than 1,000 kilometers apart. I keep hearing the TV announcers referring to them as brothers, but Vasilevskiy is a very common name in Russia. I see no evidence that they are brothers.
