AEROS:
TBD
Roster

Who to watch?BARONS TO WATCH: Rookie defenseman Martin Marincin has 5 points in his last 4 games (1-4-5) and is poised to crack the top 20 in defense scoring. Yann Danis has really elevated his game with a 0.934 save % in the Barons 5 game win streak which ended yesterday. And oh yeah we have these guys named Schultz, Eberle, Nugent-Hopkins, and Hall, I hear they're pretty good ;)

AEROS TO WATCH: The Aeros have been trying to hold the fort while two of their top players are out. Mikael Granlund and Jonas Brodin were both injured in their last meeting with the Barons. Granlund on a play in the corner against Colten Teubert and Brodin on a very hard check by Taylor Hall which was reviewed by the league and determined to be a non suspendable offense. In their absence another tremendous rookie Jason Zucker (7-2-9 in 10 games since the Aeros stars went down and 9 shots on goal yesterday) and Justin Fontaine (5-8-13 in those same 10 games) have carried the mail for the Aeros offensively.

Barons Number of the DayThe number of the day is 6 as in the point contributions of Teemu Hartikainen and Magnus Paajarvi over the teams last 7 games. Secondary scoring had been a major concern prior to that point, however the Barons are now getting solid secondary scoring and as a result had a 5 game winning streak.

Quotable"We have been trying to do the same things that the Sedin line and Getzlaf line does. We are starting to see success with it.

I've really worked on my shot. I try not waste a chance. I'm not a guy who will waste a shot from the wing."
-Jordan Eberle on his lines recent success and on his mentality when it comes to shooting the puck.

Just like their NHL counterparts, we can't beat the Wild in a shootout.

Bryanbryoil 11-30-2012 12:02 PM

Sorry for pretty much running with the same GDT but I'm sicker than a dog and wasn't sure if I could do one at all. Not sure what happens with Teubert's partner as Ringwald got hurt yesterday and Fedun had an illness. Maybe they call up Zahn or sign someone to an ATO?

RAMPAGE:
TBD
Roster

Who to watch?BARONS TO WATCH: The Barons are getting some much needed beef up front in the form of Captain Josh Green and RW Tyler Pitlick who are both returning from lengthy injuries. Green has had a rib injury from the 3rd game of the season and Pitlick has been out since the middle of November with a concussion. Pitlick arguably played his best hockey of the season with Green on his line along with Ryan Martindale. The two are set to be reunited with Green at center this time and Curtis Hamilton on the left side. Defenseman Nathan Deck may make his AHL debut as well. Deck has had a very productive run with the Stockton Thunder averaging nearly a point per game in his second pro season.

RAMPAGE TO WATCH: The Rampage just signed (12/7) defenseman Mike Mottau and forward Jon Sim to PTO's (pro tryout contracts). Both players have over 700 career NHL games between them and Mottau played 35 big league games last season while Sim was playing in Europe. The Rampage have been led offensively by Jon Rheault and Drew Shore who have 18 and 16 points respectively. Their next 4 leading scorers have 11 points apiece. The Rampage are a very big and tough team and I'd assume that as a result we should see Cam Abney get into the lineup tonight.

No need to be sorry. It is greatly appreciated the work you do for GDT

Soli 11-30-2012 01:25 PM

Roy starts. Fedun re-inserted.

That's what Houston's saying, not us.

Any link to stream or too early?

Way too early, check firstrow when the game starts.

I've been so happy with the quality of the streams lately. With the updating they've done it definitely helps ahl live be worth the money. And now I'm glad I paid for it rather than waiting. No hassles with streams not being up, double audio and lesser quality free streams.

Big bounce back night tonight.

Senor Catface 11-30-2012 05:08 PM

If this was against any other team, it would be a 15-1 win.

Since it's a Minnesota Wild affiliate? 2-1 OT loss. Tons of grinding.

scid14 11-30-2012 05:16 PM

Our team seems to play to the level of whatever team they are playing...record-wise. Hopefully they come out with some fire tonight and show this team they are the real deal like they did against the checkers.

As long as the cheerleaders are involved in the grinding Im ok with that.

N5991989 11-30-2012 07:04 PM

I hate complaining about something I am getting free but the stream has both radio feeds at the same time. It gets really annoying to try and follow.

Braden88 11-30-2012 07:04 PM

yah i was thinking that yesterday too. we are cursed with Minnesota in the NHL and its no easier in the AHL. We seem to be able to handle any other team pretty good( great games against the leading Checkers) but as soon as be play the Aeros we cant score. So frustrating

Psychoil 11-30-2012 07:07 PM

The behind the scenes of AHL radio is great.

scid14 11-30-2012 07:10 PM

For everyone that asks for a stream every game please bookmark that site.

Soli 11-30-2012 07:11 PM

LOL Byers and Bagnall for the ceremonial puck drop. Thats funny.

They do shake though.

worraps 11-30-2012 07:11 PM

Is AHL live not loading for anyone else?

RipsADrive 11-30-2012 07:12 PM

Can't really complain as I'm not a paying customer but I really wish we could lose the double audio.

Headache inducing and I can't mute it since the stream isn't always clear enough to make out numbers. Game just started.
