CZE: David Kočí vs. Boris Valábik

It's a match from the Czech Extraliga between Kometa Brno and Sparta Prague.
Just found it interesting because of both well known fighters.
Sorry for the quality but the video is actualy a net stream.
The fight starts at 0:55

Rob Petrovicky's still around, huh.

What a terrible hit from Koci. I really disliked him. Such a sloppy, clumsy player who did nothing but injure people. Completely devoid of any ability whatsoever.

Kočí's not so insidious player like this but I must agree with calling this a pretty terrible hit...
Yeah Petrovický still plays the game. Actualy lots of veterans you'd be able to remember still play the Czech League. Straka, Rucinsky, Nedved, Malik, Bonk, Cajanek, Varada, Kotalik...... and I could enumerate to infinity. :)

Wow, I was expecting Boris Valabik to get the win but it looked like the fight was a draw or narrow win for Koci. Boris Valabik was arguably the best fighter when he was in the OHL but now he's embarrassing.

Although I'd call this a draw , I think Koci would win this matchup 7 out of 10 times. Valabik did well in junior but his fighting skills never really translated to big tough NHL opponents. Hence why he's a career AHLer.

I must be seeing it weird, but I'd give that to Valabik. He clearly landed the better shots.
