Looks like the kid has taken a big step forward this season, he'd be an ideal partner for a guy like Teubert IMO assuming that he is mobile.

Ok, yes I know what I've said before, however trying him in the AHL at center is QUITE different then just writing him in as the 2nd line center in the NHL.

Davidson was also skating, however I wouldn't expect him to be returning anytime soon. Nonetheless it's nice to hear that he's back on the ice with the boys again.

I saw the tweet that he was back on the ice, I'm surprised it's so soon.
I think Davidson is going to be okay, Phil Kessel is a feel good story about a guy in his situation.

I always forget to put him into my line ups as he's not really an Oilers prospect but you're right, he's been a big part of the club.

Many keep wondering why Taylor Hall hasn't been given a shot to play centre in OKC. Hall told me in the spring that he'd be open to the idea, but only if he could start training camp at centre. He wanted an opportunity to practice and get used to a new position which makes a lot of sense. Switching from wing to centre is not as easy as many suggest, and unless they are committed to him doing it for at least two months, I don't see the point in it. I think long-term Hall is a better fit on the wing.

Stauffer asked Todd Nelson about Hall playing centre yesterday, and he said probably not.

He said he'd proabably try Arcobello with Hall and Eberle.

If the NHL comes back he'll be in the AHL in a heartbeat. He looked solid in his games in the AHL.

He'll be back at some point if the NHL returns. Unless he goes down to Stockton and plays horrible.

How has Lander looked lately? I'm not asking about offense either as I don't ever see that being his game, but how are the things that he should be able to excel at doing?

I suspect (hope) that he's played his last game in a Barons' uniform.

Hall isn't skating because he has had a sore neck/neck issue the past couple of days. Per Tom Gazzola (Oilers main site writer ). Isn't serious according to him.

Looks like injuries aren't all the boys in OKC have to be worried about...
