Wish the Yankees could've gotten him.

Now they'll sign Reynolds or washed up Youklis for 3rd.

According to Jon Heyman, the Yankees were actually the highest bidder for Keppinger. Presumably, he thinks he'll get more at bats with the White Sox (or maybe he just likes Chicago better, who knows.)

I'd be happy with Reynolds -- he may strike out 400 times and make Eduardo Scissorhands look like a gold glover at third, but the Yankees need a RH power bat in the worst way.

Youkilis -- who has sucked for three years now, and can't stay healthy anyway -- would be awful. But I'm afraid that the Yankees might panic and overpay for him.

The Yankees met with Reynolds' agent today according to Sweeny Murti, who says Reynolds probably only wants a one-year deal. If so, he'll be the guy. I'd be on board with signing him.
