Ryan Murray and Oscar Dansk among Columbus Blue Jackets CHL prospects
While most of the Blue Jackets’ prospects are playing at the professional level, Columbus currently has six players in the CHL. Of those six players, four were drafted in the 2012 draft and the other two in 2011. Leading the pack is former second overall pick Ryan Murray, who recently underwent surgery on his left shoulder and will be missing the remainder of the season. What this means is that, with surgery to repair the minor tear, it is unlikely that it affects him past this year. Had it been the hit and dislocation which would cause a relatively more serious tear in the shoulder labrum, you are more likely to have nerve damage and an increased likelihood of it re-dislocating. But since it's reportedly minor and he had been playing on it for a while, I think he is safely projected to return to 100%. Quote:
