Regarding the roster, Bowley and Brittle are out with injury/illness so we will be short of forwards, it looks like Selby and/or Balmer will play forward since there are 9 D on the final roster.

Scarecrow Boat 12-09-2012 07:31 PM

I'll have to tweet Rocco Grimaldi and ask him to pray for a live stream of at least 1 of these games this year :)

Propane Nightmares 12-09-2012 07:58 PM

If any of the games are streamed it'll be the Ukraine one tomorrow, I'll be around at that time so I'll try my best to find one

DrPabloRamirez 12-09-2012 08:14 PM

All Ukraine games will be broadcasted by "Hockey TV", website stream is probably only for Ukraine.

You tease me and it hurts

Propane Nightmares 12-10-2012 06:33 AM

Poland are giving Kazakhstan a good kicking right now, 5-2 end of 2nd.

One line seems to be doing all the damage; Starzynski, Guzic and Domogola.

Propane Nightmares 12-10-2012 07:06 AM

According to Ross Venus and Jack Watkins on twitter you can stream the Ukraine game from the IIHF website

Fantastic if true.

Scarecrow Boat 12-10-2012 07:28 AM

Basic google search tells me there are such things as live streams on the IIHF website:
http://www.iihf.com/channels1011/wm-...ve-stream.html

Just can't see one for this tournament.

Notice in that link near the top it says "Format - Statistics - Pictures - Live Stream" under the tournament title. For this tournament it just says "Format - Statistics" :(

Propane Nightmares 12-10-2012 07:37 AM

Maybe it'll be there when it's game time

Scarecrow Boat 12-10-2012 07:38 AM

Ye Pictures just appeared, doesn't work but it's there.
Maybe the live stream is only for the Ukraine games? Actually after I type this I notice the other game is over lol

Yeah usually for the lower tier tournaments only the hosts' games are streamed

wings5 12-10-2012 08:58 AM

Let me know if it works, would love to watch a game.

Scarecrow Boat 12-10-2012 10:48 AM

Next up, GB vs. Ukraine :)

3-0 Italy over Croatia was no surprise

Italy outshot them 43-12, ****ing hell, the goalie kept them in that one.

That's what experience gets you though. This is why I hate the allergy GB has to young goalies and giving them a chance

That goalie was Tomljenovic. He's 19 years old, he's in his 3rd U20 tournament, he's played in the Olympic Qualifiers, he's played in the World Championships twice. That's an impressive resume at 19.

Edit: And you can see from his team stats, he's not a star goalie at home lol

Yeah I had a look at his stats when the Croatian guy posted their roster in the other thread

Scarecrow Boat 12-10-2012 11:59 AM

any luck with streams?

Propane Nightmares 12-10-2012 12:01 PM

Game should be starting imminently, still can't find a stream

DrPabloRamirez 12-10-2012 12:07 PM

Game was scheduled by "Hockey TV", but isn“t broadcasted... So probably no stream today.

Shrimper 12-10-2012 12:08 PM

Can't find one either. Only one I've found you have to pay £80.

Brummitt in goal for us.

And it's probably not even legit, £80 is ridiculous

Shrimper 12-10-2012 12:15 PM

PP Ukraine. Watkins - Hooking.

Think it was £80 because you had to buy some software. **** that.

2nd PP for Ukraine. Watkins again. This time tripping.

0 shots on the 1st PP by my calculations.

Both PP's killed off. PK working so far.

Scarecrow Boat 12-10-2012 12:21 PM

It's painfully boring. I'd settle for radio but nothing? It's 2012 and we can't get anything but a refreshing page :(

I would understand not being able to get streams for certain games, such as GB v Croatia but Ukraine are the hosts!
