tsujimoto74 12-10-2012 10:57 AM

Ovi. Should've been 4th, IMO.

Berglund1313 12-10-2012 11:51 AM

Backstrom is nowhere near the sixth best player in the league.

Hammer Time 12-10-2012 11:59 AM

Voting Lundqvist again. Otherwise it looks like we're just doing C rankings.

Weber/Chara are also good choices.

Yea right the league is built with 100 point 2way players .

Since his one 100 point season, Backstrom has averaged under a point per game.

Safe to say he's not a "100 point two-way player" until he proves to be so with any form of consistency.

At any rate, no, the league is not full of 100 point two-way players. But it does definitely have at least six players better than Nicklas Backstrom, and that is obvious.

Went with Weber.

Also no way Giroux is better than Datsyuk. At least not right now

Don't think I could take a guy over Lundqvist, at this point. Followed by Ovechkin.

Four Boilermakers 12-10-2012 12:54 PM

Lundqvist ---> Ovechkin ---> Henrik ---> Daniel ---> Weber ---> Kovalchuk ---> Toews

365 NHL games 367 points

Last year despite injuries he was over a point per game. He's not top 6 but should already be on the list.

Yes, basically a point per game. Not a "100 point two-way" guy.

Yes, we can make excuses for a lot of guys. He has hit 100 points only once and that was while playing with the (at that time) best player in the world by a mile.

He is not a 100 point player, and he's not the sixth best player in the league by a long shot.

Do you realize the stupidity of that sentence?

I still think he is and he is only 25 so its not like he is past his prime he was also the best swedish player in the 2010 Olympic.
