So I promise this is my last thread, but I've got some custom blades being ordered soon and need your guys' opinions on one last thing.
Getting the wood blades but I want the black coating and the most durable as they won't warp. I plan on taking the tape off after every session and letting the stick stick dry in the garage.
Which one is black and what is the best so it won't warp or break as easily? I'm getting three, so I will keep one seperate in case of ordering more blades or if I do some composite blades.
HiDensity Wrap - our special fiberglass reinforcement sheath
Double Trouble Extra Strength - a fiberglass-Kevlar weave designed to protect against abrasion with an extra layer of our HiDensity Wrap
Is this from Eleven? Why don't you ask them?
All the fiberglass I've seen is clear.
Fiberglass is clear but the Kevlar is dark. It would look like this:
I'm pretty sure they also offer black painted blades.
"Our special fiberglass (hi density wrap) should be good, we can color the fiberglass any color you want (black)."
Yeah sounds good. Thanks guys for your help!! These forums are awesome for gear and hockey talk :handclap:
