Radko Gudas

What do u expect from him? Will he ever make it as a 4th liner?
Do u see him making the Lightning if there is a season this year? If so what kind of impact do u see him making?

He'll never make it as a 4th liner.

4th liner?
hahaha

Felonious Python 12-24-2012 03:12 AM

I wouldn't put it past him to make it as a 4th liner.

I don't mind if he makes it to Tampa as a dman, a forward, or even as a goalie, but Please, don't ever make us watch him in an Ice Girls uni.

I don't think he will crack our top four but he should be a really solid bottom pairing dman.

I see him topping out as a #3 shutdown defensive specialist(best case scenario) but it's more likely he becomes a #4-5 shutdown defender/PK specialist who is a fan favorite.

Yea 4th liner sounds right ;)

Would make a nice pairing with Barbeiro

He is a better player this season than last. If he has the desire to master his craft, he has few limits.

Love this guy. Solid 3rd pair defensemen and a fan favorite for his rugged style, and his thundering hip checks.

Gudas has easily been the most physical defenseman on the Crunch this year, and is rarely out of position. I've also been pleasantly surprised at his ability to handle the puck and start a transition up ice. He'll never be an offensive powerhouse, but he's not totally void of those skills. He could easily be a third pairing NHL d-man.

Pretty much have to echo this. Gudas has grown even from what he was last year. He's +15, positionally sound, always finishes checks, takes hits to make plays, has above average skating skills and will surprise you with his hands and creativity. There have been skating moves and passes he's pulled off this year that make me double-take actually. He's obviously not Barbs when it comes to rushing the puck up the ice, but he isn't nearly as far behind as many would suspect. He'll be a fan favorite wherever he plays (beard + physicality). Offensive Flair: Barbs, Taormina, Gudas.
