Thank you, I shall edit.

Finns will probably piss their pants when they see someone from their third league on our D. :( Also I have to say, that Finnish top 6 is simply unholy. No chance that this junior roster will be as polite as their men's team, which usually underperform against us.

So all in all, I see a routine victory from us.

Yeah man our defence is laughable, hope future brings better defencemen for us.
Also hope we stay up this year, cause in 2014 we will bring even better roster if we are going to be in the elite.

FinRuutu 12-25-2012 08:22 AM

I like Latvia but because I picked almost only Finns to my WJC pool I hope that it will be a slaughter with no mercy.

Good luck Latvians, lets just keep it clean.

Finnpin 12-25-2012 08:26 AM

How good quality is the Katsomo service?

All Finnish games: 14 euros
All games: 17 euros

Go Lil' Lions!

BalticWarrior 12-25-2012 08:33 AM

it will be interesting to see how Bukarts will look against fast and skilled Finns, kids got talent thats for sure he is the first Latvian player (atleast to my knowlage) to make the u-20 team beeing 16 years old.

WHC worked fine, it sure is better than Urho.

RobertR 12-25-2012 08:46 AM

First game is really important for us. If we don`t win (yeah, that could happen :sarcasm: ), at least we need to show some solid game, and don`t get a lot of pucks in our goal.

I will be fine with 3:4 ;)

as much as i`d like to,you are beeing waaay over optimistic.we will be lucky if we dont get crushed.

Viktus 12-25-2012 08:49 AM

I wouldnt be ok with 3:4, cause this score would mean we could compete. We either loose 2:6 or something like this (I wont be upset, cause no chance of winning anyway), eitrher we win!

hmm, good point.

But yeah, to be completely realistic , we gonna be crushed. But again, I`am trying to be optimistic, its easier like that. ;)

ozo 12-25-2012 08:55 AM

I'm fine with a loss with a condition that we pot some goals ourselves. Hate loosing by 0-6 or something ugly like that.

this

MMANumminen 12-25-2012 09:08 AM

Weird starting time 9.30 am finnish time. I'll be at work so no chance to see it on tv, a stream would be appreciated.

Finland will take this 5-1 after a slow start.

Armia 2+0, Salomäki 5+20 for a clean hit

To quote AVGN: "That's not saying much, it's like saying: "The **** I took today was better than the **** I took yesterday.""

Finland is developing country when we are talking about sports broadcasting.

It's nice to get double salary while watching a game. I will enjoy the game even more tomorrow by knowing that.

Karma_ 12-25-2012 09:30 AM

I expect Finland to win, but I hope Latvians make them work for it.

Snippit 12-25-2012 09:34 AM

5-1 Finland.

FinHockey 12-25-2012 09:37 AM

Wait, Ikonen didn't make the team?

Nope, not him or Haapala.

Ville231 12-25-2012 10:01 AM

Should be a good one, can't wait for these games to begin. There's no room for arrogance and Finns have to bring their A game for this one. :handclap:

Well, honestly there was no need for them. They are not useful as bottom-6 players and didn't have a place in the top-6.

BalticWarrior 12-25-2012 10:04 AM

well, atleast were not facing Canada on the first day like Germany is :D
