Adam Henrique v. Ryan McDonagh

Simply, who had the more impressive breakout season last year including the playoffs as well?

seafoam 12-26-2012 06:59 PM

Can a mod edit in a poll please?

Machinehead 12-26-2012 07:07 PM

Rangers vs Devils thread...

:sarcasm:

Based on what the poll is asking I think you have to take McDonagh. After last season -the season in question- McDonagh is at a higher level.

MastuhNinks 12-26-2012 07:18 PM

Henrique had a very good season for a rookie. McDonagh just plain had a very good season, by any standards.

Gotta go with McDonagh.

Cheddabombs 12-26-2012 07:33 PM

McDonagh... I can't justify saying Henrqiue had the better year last season, McDonagh was simply better.

Kensu 12-26-2012 07:35 PM

McDonagh

NjDevsRR 12-26-2012 07:48 PM

McD- Season BY FAR
Henrique - Postseason

McD, but Henrique is going to be really good too.

AfroThunder396 12-26-2012 07:52 PM

McDonagh, clearly

Kershaw 12-26-2012 07:53 PM

McDonagh AINEC.

One player was 3rd fiddle on a line with 2 superstars for majority of the year while the other carried the defense corps on a top defensive team.

To be fair Henrique played great on any line. Also Parise and Kovy did not play as well together with different centers. But McDonagh is the clear winner in this thread.

That's true. That line did begin to click when Henrique was added.

Yeah it was really weird. The Parise Zajac Kovy line has never worked out, even Elias played in between them for a few games and nothing really came from it. They always had their moments but they never had any consistency. Henrique playing between those two was the perfect match. He complimented both players very nicely.

If it was just regular season, it's McDonagh by far, in my opinion. But including playoffs it's a little closer. But I still voted McDonagh.

InjuredChoker 12-27-2012 06:11 AM

McD.. pretty easy for me. Henrique was good but still.

Benny FTW 12-27-2012 10:11 AM

Mcdaunaugh easily

Pierce Hawthorne 12-27-2012 01:09 PM

McD very easily, not a believer at all in Henrique at this point, I think its really looking like he was the huge benefactor of playing alongside Kovy and Parise(Only 8 points in the AHL this year as of before last night)

McD had a very impressive year, and was even better in the playoffs, Henrique had a good year, but Im not sure he's gonna repeat it again.

struckbyaparkedcar 12-27-2012 01:39 PM

McDonagh, and I love what Henrique is right now.
