LETS GO USA! very encouraged form the game today. lets get that 2nd W! will be itneresting to see how the russians rebound form a somewhat shaky first game against slovakia

Mr Writer 12-27-2012 12:37 PM

I think the Americans take this one.. It will be a dandy though.. but according to Danill Zharkov in an interview with sovsport.ru he says Russia will dominate the Americans.

kp61c 12-27-2012 12:42 PM

5 : 2 usa. our goaltending fails big time under american pressure. i hope to be proven wrong though, who knows maybe theyll be tired

UsernameWasTaken 12-27-2012 12:55 PM

3-2 USA.

Really looking forward to this game.

stokes84 12-27-2012 01:16 PM

this!

WolfgangAmadeusEller* 12-27-2012 01:29 PM

Gaudreau/Miller/Grimald looks more like the first line than the second.

truefan8993 12-27-2012 01:33 PM

US wins 4-2, but it will be a hard fought win as the Russians try to make up for their performance against the Slovaks.

ndd17 12-27-2012 01:35 PM

3-1 USA win.

Canada4Gold 12-27-2012 01:39 PM

I honestly have no idea what to predict in this game. Coming into the tournament I would have said Russia but the US were impressive in their 1st game especially Galchenyuk's line. Russia did not play to their potential against Slovakia, they played way too much as individuals, whether that's a sign to come or just a bad game I don't know. I'm gonna go with my opinion coming in and not base my prediction on their 1st games but I'm not confident in it at all

Russia 4-3

MaxV 12-27-2012 01:43 PM

Hopefully Russia plays smarter.

Sounds like you didn't seem them play, then.

1 game..

sabresfan129103 12-27-2012 01:58 PM

US looked good, but I see Russia being fired up for this game. They really take it to the US, but the US pushes back. In the end Russia wins a close game 4-3.

Rabid Ranger 12-27-2012 02:04 PM

I see this game being decided by U.S. discipline (or lack thereof). If they can stay out of the box I think they stand a good chance of pulling out a hard-fought victory.

Emerica 12-27-2012 02:05 PM

US wins in regulation. 4-2.

NE division preview :naughty:
Hoping for USA to win, but I expect it to be close. Have a feeling the Russians end up taking it. They just have so much skill up front. USA was good in their first game, but it's not like they were playing a team anyone expected to really compete with them. If they can't be more disciplined, I think Russia will make them pay for it more than Germany did.

bigbadbruins7 12-27-2012 02:26 PM

very surprised so many people are thinking that the USA is going to win. thought it would be a closer and more people would think that the star power of russia would get them the W

c9gunner 12-27-2012 02:41 PM

Russia wins 5-2. Yakupov will score 2 goals.

DuckJet 12-27-2012 02:44 PM

I wouldn't count on Gibson or Vasilevski allowing more than 3 each. This one should end up being close.

No wonder then, Russia has played very poorly with Slovakia, and the United States has done a good job in the match against Germany. Therefore, the forecasts are.
