Which Russian Forward has the Best Career?

Out of: Evgeny Kuznetsov, Nail Yakupov, and Vladimir Tarasenko, which player do you think goes on to have the best NHL career?

For the sake of argument, assume that all players are bound to the NHL and not the KHL.

And yes, I realize that nobody can tell the future. However, I am asking for your opinion, not an absolute answer predicated on who is right.

Absolutely no way of knowing but I guess Ill pick Yakupov. I think there are a couple other Russians who have a chance to be better than this group of players.

Peak wise I think Yak will be the best of the three so I voted for him. Was very close to voting for Kuznetsov, this is a tough poll.

dr robbie 12-28-2012 01:19 PM

Tank me captain!

NoahH57 12-28-2012 02:32 PM

Yakupov. He is an explosive player and an absolute game changer. Tarasnko and Kuznetsov will also go on to have great careers but I think Yakupov will be better

Karma 12-28-2012 02:40 PM

Yakupov

Kuznetsov
Tarasenko

This is a good poll...not because the question is so compelling; it's because the poll result is totally different from what most people are posting.

Would of voted Tarasenko if he wasn't going to end up on a defensive minded team

I put their draft years besides them.

If we assume they all come to the NHL after the lockout, as per the OP, Yak has 2 more years, all things being equal to make a better impression and to work on his NHL career.

He also has a very good situation in Edmonton to work with.

I would put Tarasenko 2nd as he is the better goal scorer of the two 10 guys but the situation in Washington might be better so that's a tough one.

Same here.

Other two have a chance to play with Backstrom/Ovechkin and Hall/RNH

Yakupov- Highest potential.
Taresenko- Will be playing on a defensive trap team, if hes even good enough.
Kuzentsov- probably wont even be playing in the NHL.

Confound 12-28-2012 06:49 PM

Yakupov.....AINEC?

Dr Quincy 12-29-2012 08:48 AM

Kuznetsov for me.

Le Magnifique 66 12-29-2012 10:18 AM

Yakupov

Tarasenko

Wingsfan2965 12-29-2012 11:57 AM

Went with Yakupov simply because Kuznetsov makes it sound like he's completely content with staying in the KHL.

Hard to choose though between Tank and Yak. Went with Tank for homer reasons.

Zine 12-29-2012 01:20 PM

1. Kuznetsov
2. Tarasenko
3. Yakupov

Yakupov will be an elite goal scorer....but he hasn't shown the ability to carry a team like Kuznetsov/Tarasenko can.

PensBandwagonerNo272 12-29-2012 02:02 PM

I'll take Tarasenko

Thought he was playing for the Blues?

bigbadbruins7 12-29-2012 09:10 PM

yakupov

tony d 12-30-2012 08:50 AM

Yakupov
Tarasenko
Kuznetov

Izzy Mandelbaum 12-30-2012 11:02 AM

Tarasenko could end up being the best, but if he stays on St. Louis he'll put up minimal numbers,

Rick Rypien Farts 12-30-2012 03:20 PM

If they decide to play in the NHL..
