Sean Kuraly (San Jose Draft Pick In 2011)

I have been impressed by this center in my viewings this year. His stats in the NCAA donīt look so great, but I think this player has a lot of potential. Strong center with good stickhandling, plays hard at both ends of the ice and is a very solid face-off man. My question is, how long do you think he will play college hockey? And whatīs his potential as an NHL Prospect?

I think Kuraly could be a solid 3rd line centre in the NHL. He playsa the game of a typical role player and bottom 6 guy. I think he should be able to contribute 30+ points playing on the 3rd line and top PK unit

I find it interesting that Kuraly is a 5th rounder and Riley Barber is a 6th rounder. Steals?

His father went to Miami at Ohio too and is the school's all-time leading goalscorer. I would think he'd stay as long as he can, but at the same time he's not a true freshman, so ideally he'd move on to the AHL after 2 years.

I think he should and likely will stay four years and then if he keeps progressing he could be a 4th line energy player in the NHL.

If you get an NHL player out of the 5th or 6th round you win automatically.

Dude can skate for sure.

Not sure about his offensive upside though.
