Erik Karlsson (CAR)
2013 3rd Round Pick

Canes get some defensive depth while Rangers pick up a cool prospect and pick.

I see what you did there

PriceIsGod 12-29-2012 10:59 PM

Er , no from the rangers , do you know the value of sauer ? Karlsson doesn't match it.

Well, someone have to do it, so i nominate myself to be the jerk who cant read and do the anticipated reply:

"Are you crazy, Erik Karlsson just won the Norris, he worth so much more than Sauer!"

It'll be much more nasty than that

Clarified thread title.

The Rangers don't do this.

The Amity Affliction 12-30-2012 01:37 AM

Why do the Rangers do this?

Phion Keneuf 12-30-2012 01:52 AM

I wouldn't do it from the Canes Pov. Karlsson looks great, Sauer is a bandaid

roach9 12-30-2012 02:06 AM

No from Canes POV.

DaveG 12-31-2012 09:00 AM

No from either POV. Rangers are in win now mode, wtf does Karlsson do for them? Canes are moving towards becoming a solid playoff team, but Karlsson's looking like a steal from the last draft already. On a team that's struggled to find guys that can produce as secondary scorers it doesn't make sense to give up one of their few prospects that looks like he will be able to do just that.
