I agree with the end result but I don't think Nail will light it up twice.

Cam98 01-01-2013 08:11 PM

low scoring games, 3-2 swiss or russia will be final score. and same i do not see yakupov scoring but he might surprise us.

Dasachtach 01-01-2013 08:24 PM

I have a feeling that Russia is going to absolutely beat the **** out of the Swiss.

c9gunner 01-01-2013 08:28 PM

My predictions: Russia will win 3-0. It will be a good game for Grigorenko and Yakupov. Vasilevsky will be a starting goalie.

Is this confirmed?

No. It's just my prediction :)

canadiensnation 01-01-2013 09:34 PM

Swiss lose but outshoot the Russians.

if the Swiss win do they play Canada instead of the Czech's or US?

Killahpunk 01-01-2013 09:41 PM

My prediction is a 4-1 Russia victory.

No. They will play Sweden.

Kid Dynamite 01-01-2013 10:20 PM

I think Russia will play there best game of the tournament (so far). 1-2 goal lead going into the third and then they blow it wide open.

Coramoor 01-01-2013 10:25 PM

4-1 for the swiss in an absolute shocker

Shaun 01-01-2013 10:42 PM

I think the Russians are going to blow them out

heusy_79 01-01-2013 10:52 PM

Swiss lead 2-1 going into the third but Russia takes it 4-2 with an empty netter.

kes81sel 01-01-2013 10:56 PM

Russia wins 5-3, Grigorenko and Yakupov both with two goals

zorz 01-01-2013 11:15 PM

This can really go either way. Remember that Russia had huge problem handling the pressure in their opening game against Slovakia. Now the pressure will be even bigger. + Switzerland is having quite good tournament so far.

Mestaruus 01-01-2013 11:29 PM

Switzerland gets another OT or SO loss.

oilersfan87 01-01-2013 11:46 PM

Swiss either win in overtime or lose in the shootout

VinnyC 01-01-2013 11:55 PM

Switzerland will put up a good fight but the Russians will simply outskill them. 5-2

Nash 01-02-2013 12:21 AM

Swiss have had a great tournament and Russia hasn't shown what they are capable of yet. However, unless Russia lose composure in a tight game and succumb to the pressure of the home crowd, I would be very surprised if they lost. That being said, I was pretty shocked that the Swiss potted five on them and lost 7-5 in exhibition. You can't really count on exhibition results though. Ask poor Finland fans.

The Zetterberg Era 01-02-2013 01:45 AM

The Swiss have a great power play, but unless the Russians play dumb enough to put them on it and I am thinking more of a major variety where they pot a couple and really stir the game, I don't think this will be close.

Tomas W 01-02-2013 02:36 AM

Lets go Switzerland!

LaTenderness 01-02-2013 02:45 AM

I'm expecting a big showing outta Grigo..... He will show that much like his mentor Pat Roy he's also able to elevate his game as they get more and more important.
