Habs.

Subban is already a number one and currently the best Dman left on any list and Tinordi and Beaulieu are both former first rounders who are developing well.

Also think theres not enough discussion going on about Anaheim, looking at there three now I would be undecided on them or Toronto.

Buffalo.

Edmonton and Montreal probably have the best two players out of all the choices (Subban and Shultz obviously). However, I like the depth of the three Toronto players over the 2 and 3 on the Oilers and Habs.

Buffalo, but it's close.

Buffalo mostly because 1) Myers -- IMO the highest overall ceiling of any single player still on this list (and amongst the more proven players along with Subban and Hedman), but also because 2) Pysyk/McNabb aren't slouches either. That tandem could be Buffalo's 2nd pairing in a few years. Nice mixture of skill and grit between them.

Going with Winnipeg. Really high on Bogosian and Trouba has answered all my questions about his mobility and then some at the WJC.

Anaheim

NYI for sure.

Top pair defenseman, 4th overall pick and a former 12th overall pick who's just gotten unlucky with injuries.

It's hard to say if Cal de Haan with have a NHL future period. He has injured both shoulders and shoulders tend to get worse the more you injure them. I would say substitute de Haan with Matt Donovan. Donovan is an offensive defenseman in the mold of Christian Ehrhoff. He is a good skater with a booming slapshot and is not afraid to use the body. Isles fan expect him to be a #3 or #4 with the ability to run the first PP unit. Combine that with the development of Hamonic who has established himself as a legit shutdown defenseman capable of playing top pairing minutes and Griffin Reinhart who can develop into a true #1 or at worst a top four defenseman and I'd say we have a pretty nice trio to build around. Not the best, but very respectable.

I know we are talking about trios, but we have some impressive defensemen in the prospect pipeline. Scott Mayfield is a right handed defenseman who throws out big hits, Andrey Pedan is a tough Russian who is capable of putting up points, and Adam Pelech is developing into a two way defenseman who has some leadership and is looking like a steal from the 3rd round in the 2012 draft. He was recently invited to Canada's tryout for the WJC. Both Mayfield and Pedan are 6'4" and Pelech is 6'2". I haven't even touched on some ouf our impressive puck moving defensemen prospects. :naughty:

Tie for me between Anaheim and Winnipeg.

You left Dallas out of the poll. Just saying.

Habs for sure, the odds that anyone else on the board becomes as good as Subban is just way too low. People are putting too much stock in potential, although it's nice to dream of Gardiner or Rielly becoming better than an already great Subban the odds of that actually happen are about as good as Toronto winning the cup this year.

Pk Subban had 36 points last year, Jake Gardiner got 30 in his rookie year. I don't know how you measure greatness, but it might need some adjustments. I don't even need to bring Rielly into the equation.

Anyway, I really like Anaheim but the Islanders could end up being really good

I can't decide if Detroit is being underrated, or if Toronto is being overrated...

Bogosian is better than most (but maybe not all) of the top ones here.
Trouba is a beast of a prospect.
And Postma is as proven as an offensive prospect can get without playing the NHL (AHL All-Star, great pre-season last year, etc. etc.)
