Match #1 Lesnar dominates at extreme rules.

Match #2 Lesnar wins, but not as dominating as extreme rules at Summerslam.

Match #3 Cena goes over at Wrestlemania finally getting him/adapting to his style.

The ruined Lesnar's comeback from the damn get go. And now they're in a position of what the hell do we even do with him? No matter who he faces, it's been a giant waste imo.

Honestly right now, I'm really just looking forward to the Rumble. It always puts a smile on my face.

They salvaged it somewhat by having him make Triple H tap out clean at SummerSlam, but I agree, he should have defeated Cena.

IMO, it should have gone:

defeat Cena at Extreme Rules
defeat HHH at SummerSlam

claim to be the king of kings in WWE and he can defeat anyone.

out comes The Undertaker the night after the Royal Rumble, and we begin build up to Lesnar/Taker, the true "King" of the WWE, the Phenom. Have Taker win, but Lesnar destroy Taker post match at 'Mania to keep him strong.

I still hope they book him vs. Undertaker. Please, WWE.

I mean, I like my idea of Cena and Lesnar having a 3 match run, but that's damn good too.

Yeah... gotta give CPrice some credit. That is the streak and a dominant force going head to head. :amazed: That's what I want to pay money to see.

Xenophobia Catalyst 01-04-2013 10:41 AM

I said in the previous thread that Brock vs Taker would either be really good or really bad. With a full year off I have to think taker could do what he has done over the past few years and put on a good show. But at the same time I just keep thinking that with undertaker getting older he cannot do what he used to and I have this fear it could turn into a Brock vs Goldberg fiasco. Plus there may be ring rust for both of them. But aside from Cena there is not many guys who can believable end the streak but Brock would be a great challenger to the streak and would get my interest in the match for sure.

1) With Taker, we know we will never get a Lesnar/Goldberg type situation. He loves this business too much to give the fans complete ****.

2) Every time I think Taker won't be able to deliver I get proven wrong. His Wrestlemania work is out of this world.

Yeah I'm sure you are right. Taker would do all he can to make it a good show. My concern was more for Brock. But he seems to care about the business more than Goldberg did. So I am sure my fear is irrational.

Despite whatever personal issues Taker/Lesnar have (and theres no details on those), I think they have respect for each other that they wouldn't allow it to go down Lesnar/Goldberg alley, especially with Taker in there. He definitely wouldn't allow it to happen.

I just can't believe that if WWE goes with Lesnar/HHH again, we're going to see Taker/Punk.

We go from Batista-Edge-HBKx2-HHHx2-...CM Punk. No one believes Punk will win.

M.C.G. 31 01-04-2013 02:56 PM

Do you smell it?

I really don't want to see Punk/Taker at WM. Much rather see Taker/Lesnar and Cena/Rock/Punk. HHH can sit this one out.

M.C.G. 31 01-04-2013 03:13 PM

2.31 rating for Raw.

OmniSens 01-04-2013 03:16 PM

I just really can't see The Rock participating in a chamber match.

I would have said the same if The Rock wasn't working so many dates, but he seems committed. He'll probably be involved and be the 6th entrant to minimize his workload and bumps.

He's already advertised for the show, so he'll definitely be competing.

I think that's what we all expect him to do if he does compete.

CM Punk and John Cena "I'm here every week"

*The Rock lists off all the dates he's going to be here*

"That's gonna put some butts in seats!"

More than half a million people switch over to watch Mankind win the title.

M.C.G. 31 01-04-2013 04:07 PM

I hope The Rock is on commentary for the TLC match on Monday.

I remember watching both of those shows. Raw was on Monday nights on TSN and Nitro was shown on Tuesdays on the score or sportsnet if I remember correctly so I remember both shows in their entirety. I can even remember hearing them say Mankind was going to win and me and my friend who I watched the shows with looked at each other and said "Did the just say that?"

I remember that... god, what used to be!

Raw on Monday, TSN 9-11, smackdown on Thursday, The Score 7-9. Then it changed to 8-10 when UPN joined in. Good times.

Ryback in the WHC chamber?

Or just coincidence they placed him between the holder and #1 contender?

M.C.G. 31 01-04-2013 05:30 PM

Yeah, I think Ryback is moving to the World title picture. That's what Meltzer says after all.

That was right when I started watching WWF instead of WCW, and I was HUGE into WCW. I had been watching both for several years but still favored Nitro up until right around that night. Watching that video was crazy, those pops are off the charts loud.
