I have a question. I have a jersey that is "XL" but it feels like just a large. It's got the heavy mesh style. I need it to be longer on the sleeves for it to fit okay with a hoody/equipment. Can a tailor do this or do I have to send it somewhere, or can it not be done?

It can be done, but you'll need some heavy mesh material the same colour as your jersey sleeves (unless you think a different colour wouldn't look that bad at the end of the sleeves).

If you don't have an old jersey the same colour you can check the thrift stores in your area for a jersey of that colour to use for material, or check a local fabric store.

It wouldn't be that hard of a task as a DIY project if you have a sewing machine you can use; even easier if you have access to a serger (or know someone who would be willing to do it for you with a sewing machine or serger).
