Add a player of any age to your WJC team.

You can add any player to your World Juniors team. Skater or goalie. Who do you pick? (Has to be of same nationality).

I'd get Chara for team Slovakia solely because of the entertainment factor.

If I really wanted to win, I'd get a goalie, probably Halak.

lakai17 01-06-2013 11:27 AM

Bobby Orr

The Incredible Hulk

Most likely i'd pick a goalie, Rask or Rinne.

I second this. Finland's goaltending was somewhat below par this year.

Id say Dustin brown for the USA. Leadership, big hitting, timely scoring. The USA didn't need anything but I'd take him if allowed

Olaf Kolzig

Jordan Eberle

Russians you know why!

I think the US junior team's weakest position was center. Not that they played bad, I mean this is the weakest position of a team that played dominant hockey, but I think they could use more skill, especially with Gally at wing.

Current: Paul Stastny

All-Time: Mike Modano

For Canada, I think it would have to be a goaltender. Price probably due to his past performance at the WJC.

Jeez, I can just imagine a 6'9 35 year old guy against a team of U20s.

He would get insta-suspended by IIHF for intimidation and taking up too much space.

And I quote the name of the thread: Add a player of any age to your WJC team.

Aquin001 on Ice 01-06-2013 08:08 PM

Out of anyone?

Probably Frank Corrado.

This, or possibly Pietrangelo and just play him 30 minutes a game since our D was a real mess.

BillyShoe1721 01-06-2013 08:16 PM

Probably Patrick Kane or Phil Kessel.

I don't think he counts as Canadian. His play is just too out of this world.

I'll see myself out now...
