#CdnTennis players who will be in the main draw at the #AusOpen: Jesse Levine, Rebecca Marino, Milos Raonic & Daniel Nestor (doubles).
Marino got a special direct entry into the main draw, so good for her.

Wozniak is still recovering from injury (would have been in the main draw) and Pospisil contracted a virus that has hampered his training so he withdrew from qualifying.

Tournament begins January 14.

Canadian men were 2-2 in the first round of qualifying.

Diez (making his major tournament debut) and Polansky won.

Chvojka and Dancevic lost.

The four women begin today.

Raonic playing a tuneup lost to Hewitt. Raonic not exactly in great form going into the AO.

Go Nole!!! :yo:

Diez is out (:() but Polansky is into the final round of qualifying.

Bouchard got her first win as a pro and is into the second round! She is joined by Dubois. Other two Canadian women are out.

Serena is in Vika's half and not Sharapova's. Kvitova playing Schiavone first round. Lisicki-Wozniacki first round.

That screen is too small to read. Surely they could zoom in when placing the players in their allocated line.

Deficient Mode 01-10-2013 05:55 PM

Murray in Federer's half. Typical luck. Fed playing Paire in the first round. Berdych in Djoker's quarter; Tipsarevic in Ferrer's; Delpo in Murray's and Tsonga in Fed's.

Shrimper 01-10-2013 05:56 PM

Couldn't make out who he was facing first but it looked like Robin Haase from the Netherlands?

Deficient Mode 01-10-2013 05:59 PM

Raonic playing Hajek in the first round I believe. Good draw for him. Forgot which other top seeds were in his draw.

Nishikori playing Ferrer in the R16.

Dolgopolov-Monfils first round as well as Mathieu-Djokovic. Kohlschreiber would play Fed in the third round. Bad luck for him.

17futurecap 01-10-2013 06:00 PM

Dog Monfils first round, nice.

Deficient Mode 01-10-2013 06:02 PM

Fed looking at Paire and Davydenko in the first two rounds. Not what I was hoping for at all.

Hewitt never gets any luck in the slams either. Faces Tipsarevic first round.

No easy matches for Nole. Damn... Berdych will be very tricky too. It will be a tough going from first round on.

He did get the better half though... (as of now).

Deficient Mode 01-10-2013 07:12 PM

I disagree. Nole owns Berdych quite comfortably actually. Mathieu is a talented player, but realistically not talented enough and way too much of a choker to pull off the upset. Same goes for Wawrinka. Either Harrison or Giraldo should be fodder for him in the second round. I just can't see him not making the final. It's his best event and he has a favorable draw to get there.

Panteras 01-10-2013 08:05 PM

Monfils vs Dolgo nice

CareyClutch 01-10-2013 08:37 PM

Pulling for Del Potro, at least for a final.

kihei 01-10-2013 08:42 PM

Pretty sweet looking draw for Nole, but Andy is in for no picnic with a potential Del Potro/Federer/Djokovic run.

I'm just very pessimistic when it comes to my favorite teams/players. :p: I still expect him to make the finals at least. Anything less... and it will be a big disappointment.

Murray-Federer semi-final should be good, if Roger can make it that far. :handclap:

Fighter 01-10-2013 09:26 PM

Kvitova vs Schiavone in the first round?!? Ouch, poor Schiavo...

Tuggy 01-11-2013 08:36 AM

Bouchard lost in 2 tiebreaks :(

joe89 01-12-2013 04:31 AM

Rusty-Tipsy, probably on the night session, should be something special.

Tuggy 01-12-2013 07:02 AM

Well no Canadians survived through qualifying.

And we will have a new world #4 when the rankings come out on Monday!
