Which Canadian team will win the Stanley Cup Next?

Wait for poll.

WolfgangAmadeusEller* 01-07-2013 10:45 PM

Oilers or Canadiens.

S3rkie 01-07-2013 10:52 PM

quebec :sarcasm:

MessierII 01-07-2013 11:18 PM

Edmonton or Ottawa.

Honourable mention to the peg

Kershaw 01-07-2013 11:39 PM

Leafs can win it if they get Luongo imo.

Vankiller Whale 01-07-2013 11:41 PM

Vancouver. This year. Book it.

No Fun Shogun 01-07-2013 11:50 PM

Quebec Nordiques, 2019.

deytookerjaabs 01-07-2013 11:56 PM

None, a great economic collapse happens in the year 2033 forcing all sports leagues to ruin and up until the it's American franchises all the way.

HavlatMach9 01-08-2013 12:19 AM

Oilers (according to a number chosen at random).

Melnyks Mirage 01-08-2013 12:28 AM

It won't be us under current management. The most we've got out of Murray for playoff expectations is that they should win a few games, maybe a round or two.

Now if get a GM that can light a fire, apply pressure and set expectations higher then watch out. That won't be happening until 2038 or so since Tim Murray will be the next GM with Bryan whispering orders from the shadows.

Sasso09 01-08-2013 12:46 AM

Almost voted Vancouver... They're undoubtedly the closest... But the window is closing, I voted Edmonton, 5-6 years From now possibly

Vancouver couldn't win with Luongo. You think Toronto has a better team than Vancouver?

So many things wrong with that sentence.

Edmonton or Montreal.

He says "can" win.. Basically he's saying w/o Luongo, there is 0% of winning, with Luongo, it's above 0%.

VinnyC 01-08-2013 01:01 AM

Canucks will always win the Stanley Cup until they win it.

One of the Murray's run over your dog?

Mr Forever 01-08-2013 01:16 AM

If Vancouver can't get it done Edmonton and Ottawa are next in line.

Krampus 01-08-2013 01:23 AM

I think Vancouver will not win in their window (which is already slowly closing)

Ottawa has the brightest future

Virtanen2Horvat 01-08-2013 01:47 AM

I hate to say it but I think Vancouver only has a good few years left and then we wait 10 years.

Columbus can win it if they get Crosby, Malkin, Chara and Lundqvist.

saskriders 01-08-2013 02:29 AM

Homer vote

Vancouver has the best chance for the next 2 or 3 years at least, but I just don't think they can get it done (even though I do like them)

Choose Ottawa over Edmonton because Ottawa will be better all-around

alcanalz 01-08-2013 02:57 AM

If it's not Vancouver, then pick a random team and you've as good a chance of being right as any.

Krishna 01-08-2013 03:06 AM

Jets.

Yeah but that's the thing, it's sort of a this year or bust situation ... with a premiere young dman still to sign, Lu to trade and the cap dropping to $64mil, everything after this year is going to be a steep climb for the Canucks.

Leaf fan voting Edmonton ... (sigh) ... if that management team doesn't find a way to surround their young core with what's necessary, then Edmonton will surely never win again.

MetalheadPenguinsFan 01-08-2013 06:35 AM

Edmonton.
