we will problay only have a few NHL players.

joe89 01-16-2013 02:23 PM

Bertilsson and Klefbom are both out for the remainder of this season.

jfc64 03-09-2013 09:36 AM

Looking promising at defense with OEL, Hedman, Brodin and Enström (if he returns from injury) with Staffan Kronwall and perhaps an emerging SEL defenseman.

Gabriel Landeskog - Nicklas Backstrom - Marcus Johansson

Brodin will play if healthy.

With the amount of good blueliners we currently have I'd be more surprised if we didn't ice something up to standard. Kinda ironic when you look at what we ice in the EHT.

Niklas Persson has already made the team :shakehead

Along with Thörnberg, Kronwall, Pettersson and Lundqvist for those who didn't watch Hockeykväll. Söderberg is also a lock if he isn't going to NHL.

jfc64 03-21-2013 11:42 PM

Ekman-Larsson might miss WC on home ice because of Calder Cup. Hope this tragedy will never occur! He has a one way contract from next year on. Maybe Carl Söderberg is fighting for this as well.

In order to be eligible for the Calder Cup OEL needs to be sent down(or up) to Portland prior to the trade deadline. Not gonna happen.

Per Marie Lehmann Viklund and Janmark-Nylén expected for WC Camp 1.

There's about 15 Elitserien players I would take before he would even be in the conversation of making the team. :help:

Swedish roster for two games against Slovakia:

MÅLVAKTER
30. Linus Ullmark
31. Johan Backlund
32 Gustaf Wessalu

BACKAR
2. Niclas Lundgren
6. Tom Nilsson
7. Henrik Tömmernes
9. Niclas Andersén
16. Tobias Viklund
33. Elias Fälth
37. Stefan Johansson

FORWARDS
12. Fredrik Pettersson
14. Richard Gynge
15. Jonathan Granström
20. Joel Lundqvist
24. Mattias Janmark-Nylén
27. William Karlsson
28. Dick Axelsson
40. Dennis Rasmussen
44. Nicklas Danielsson
67. Martin Thörnberg
70. Mario Kempe
71. Jonas Andersson
72. Patrik Carlsson
87. Robert Rosén

Some random names on this roster I must say. Not sure why Tom Nilsson is there but Wikstrand isn't and why Granström is there but Lindholm or Enterfeldt isn't. Not many guys on this roster will make the final team anyways and there appears to be more camps coming up.

Systemfel 03-27-2013 08:46 AM

Some lines...?

Axelsson - Lundqvist - Pettersson
Thörnberg - Rosén - Gynge
Carlsson - Karlsson - Danielsson
Kempe - Rasmussen - Andersson

Andersén - Fälth
Johansson - Viklund
Tömmernes - Nilsson

TheFatOne 03-27-2013 01:22 PM

Thörnberg - Rosén - Gynge
Axelsson - Lundqvist - Pettersson
Danielsson - Rasmussen - Jämtin
Carlsson - Karlsson - Kempe

Andersén - Fälth
Tömmernäs - Johansson
Lundgren - Nilsson

jfc64 03-28-2013 07:09 AM

European players missing from this team?

Omark?
Mattias Karlsson
Jesper Fasth
Kronwall
Persson

Luleå
Färjestad
Skäll F Teee-åååååh
Linköping

joe89 03-28-2013 08:06 AM

Omark - Playoffs
Fasth - Rangers
Karlsson - Injured
Kronwall, Persson - Rested?

jfc64 04-11-2013 11:05 AM

Starting to look a bit weak at forward right now...but dont despair, Markstrom and one of OEL, Enstrom and Hedman on the ice all the time is a good start. Bring in Conny Evensson+ (vacation keyboard question mark, VKQM). Martenssons and Omarks are nneded this year.

Eriksson – Backlund - Landeskog
Thörnberg – Mårtensson - Hörnqvist
Lindberg – Järnkrok – Danielsson
Persson – Lundqvist – Pettersson
Omark

Enstrom - Hedman
Ekman-Larsson – Larsson
Tallinder – Kronwall S
Ekholm - Karlsson M

Markström
Lindbäck / Enroth
Ersberg / Gustafsson

joe89 04-11-2013 12:01 PM

We've got serious troubles down the middle.

Right now I'd take OEL, Hedman, Enström, S.Kronwall, Larsson, Ekholm on defense. Grossmann would've been perfect but he's out with concussion.

Markström is my starter.

Jonimaus 04-11-2013 01:49 PM

Russia, Canada and Finland has to field some very weak teams for that to have a shot at a medal. This smells like another failure.

Hockeyfrilla 04-11-2013 03:24 PM

Swe federation stops Söderberg from NHL for this clown tourney, embarrassing
