Illini looking like garbage early on in Madison.

Nice win today for Marquette, have no clue how they were getting 10 at Pitt.

Earliest ice turned off a game in a long time

Disappointing performance by the Illini up north.

Can't wait for ManU to destroy Liverpool tomorrow and stick a dagger in my terrible sports weekend

Did not wake up for the Arsenal game. Very thankful for that.

Michigan lost today! I think it'll be Louisville #1 and IU #2 when the new rankings come out tomorrow.

Our old friend Milt at it again:

Quote:

Bradley, 34, was charged on Thursday with 13 misdemeanor counts of assault with a deadly weapon, vandalism and dissuading a witness from making a report.

In addition to jail time, Bradley could face up to $13,000 in fines and restitution if convicted.

He remained free pending a scheduled Jan. 24 arraignment.

Prosecutors contend that Bradley threatened and attacked his wife five times in 2011 and 2012. He was twice arrested at the home in 2011.

"During one incident in November 2012, Bradley allegedly pushed his wife against a kitchen wall and choked her with both hands after she requested that he stop smoking marijuana in front of their children and requested that his friends leave her San Fernando Valley home," said a statement from the city attorney's office.

Prosecutors contend that during other confrontations, Bradley kicked his wife in the ribs, approached her with a baseball bat and threatened her with a knife while telling her: "You'll be dead b---- before you divorce me."

"My client denies it," said Bradley's attorney, Harland Braun. "I've talked to him already. He said, 'She's making up stories. I don't know what she's talking about.' "

I could never be a defense attorney.

Let's just say that with Milton Bradley, the light's on but no one's home.

Damn, Stuart Scott's cancer came back. He is now battling cancer for a third and hopefully final time. Praying he beats it. I've been watching him on ESPN my whole life.

RayP 01-14-2013 08:14 PM

Had no idea he had a history with cancer.... What kind? Few links I see about it don't specify.

Quote:

Scott had an emergency appendectomy in Pittsburgh after becoming ill while covering the Pittsburgh Steelers–Miami Dolphins Monday Night Football game on November 26, 2007. The surgery also discovered a malignancy that required an additional surgery to remove possibly cancerous tissue. He returned a month later and continued on-air broadcasting during recommended preventive chemotherapy. ESPN President George Bodenheimer said "Stuart is approaching this fight with the same passion and energy we see on air... He knows he has our full support and we look forward to the day where this is all behind him."[4]
In 2011, it was revealed that Scott was again battling cancer.[5] The disease entered remission in early 2012, but Scott was again diagnosed with cancer on January 14, 2013.

The Bulls literally just posted their best regular season defensive performance in franchise history.

Jesus ****ing Christ.... what the **** did I just read?

IU Hawks fan 01-16-2013 03:35 PM

This is one of the creepiest and strangest things I've ever heard.

RayP 01-16-2013 03:39 PM

After his miserable Bowl game he still had the nice guy thing going for him, now... 3rd rounder to a team like the Raiders? This is just so ****ed up.

coldsteelonice84 01-16-2013 03:48 PM

That's so deranged. Who knew the guy was a psychopath? I don't want the Bears to have anything to do with this guy. He should really put football on hold and enter a facility. I hope NFL teams advise him to do so but I highly doubt it. They'll just see him as a value pick like Ray said.

Cullksinikers 01-16-2013 03:51 PM

I am calling my friends and everyone. This is going to hit national news. I heard about this about an hour ago and was going to post about it here. Glad I am not the one to post it in case the hoax story is ironically a hoax.

coldsteelonice84 01-16-2013 03:54 PM

That's possible too, it is deadspin we are talking about. Either they go down the crapper or T'eo does. We're talking about cancer, fake deaths, nothing to joke about. One of them should be wiped off the face of the Earth for all practical purposes within the coming days.

Illinihockey 01-16-2013 03:57 PM

Bad month for T'eo...hahahahaha

Cullksinikers 01-16-2013 04:00 PM

This is the saddest sports story since Penn State if true. I would not draft the guy over this if this comes out to be true and he confesses.

He is either the most gullible or disgraceful athlete we've seen in awhile.

How would he be gullible, it's not like he went around telling everyone this happened to his friends girlfriend. This is him telling people this happened to him, it's a flat out lie, if true.
