RNH for Benn

Just putting it out there for value purposes only. RNH will be a mainstay in Edm for a long time. but i have to admit the pure thought of this isnt so bad. The Oil would have their center with size. As much as i like RNH,it does answer some issues in Edmontons area of need. Man i hate mysellf for thinking like this. If Gagner steps up playing with Hemer and Yak it could ...AHHH nevermind i hate the thought of loosing RNH. (Gagner Klefboom and a 1st for Benn)

Interesting proposal but I see both teams holding onto their own players.

rockinghockey 01-13-2013 01:04 PM

RNH will just never be traded, his vision and hockey skills are off the charts. If Benn is going to be traded it is going to be for a better deal than that. How about:
EDM
Benn
Fistic

DAL
Yak
Gagner
Potter/Peckham

Predsrule 01-13-2013 01:04 PM

One of them deals both sides won't like.

Phil Connors* 01-13-2013 01:05 PM

Nuge has more value.

oilers4life5 01-13-2013 01:05 PM

RNH is worth more then Benn. No interest from Oilers.

WeridAl 01-13-2013 01:06 PM

Happy hour has started I see.:sarcasm:

Gave me a good laugh thanks

TrillMike 01-13-2013 01:09 PM

Neither side does this. Also, why not post all Benn-related stuff in the Jamie Benn thread?

Benn for RNH, probably Dallas adds (a bit).
Gagner Klefbom and a 1st for Benn is probably underpayment by Edmonton.

Personal opinion:

RNH >> Benn

This is based on how high I think the potential upside for RNH is

Dallas wouldn't trade Benn for anyone from the 2012 draft - let alone be tempted by other crumbs.

Benn is a complete package.

thegutter 01-13-2013 01:18 PM

yeah id trade benn for rnh, that would be a good trade. Actually I dont know, god i hate myself for thinking like this, maybe i wouldnt do it. It is RNH though. Yeah i think i would. No i cant pull the trigger.

smackdaddy 01-13-2013 01:18 PM

Never. Ever.

This Benn hype is getting out of hand.

Yea, because I didn't see that this is where this thread started by an Oilers fan would end up going.

wat

Who cares if you're the "complete package"? Gretzky wasn't a complete package.

PayItForward 01-13-2013 01:22 PM

I'd rather have RNH than Benn.

It's a non-starter.

He'd be great on our 2nd line, though.

Or even worse, someone like Brendan Morrow! Geez, how will he ever survive.

Oh wait...

I understand that, just as the Oilers wanting anything less for Benn. Our #1 and your #1 kind of thing. My whole point, and my comment to your post is directed at the fact if you read the OP this thread has a great potential to derail very quickly.

dj33habs 01-13-2013 01:27 PM

Benn=Iginla
RNH=Ribeiro

Iginla>>Ribeiro
