Interesting so far, Black said 30 people cancelled their season tickets. He's going to call each one to make sure it wasn't just an "emotional decision" and give them the choice to keep them. That's a great thing to do considering the waiting list to become a season ticket holder. |
The guy is smooth as silk. Said all the right things. Continues to have ideas to improve fans experience and has green light for any project that he wants from TP. Let fans vent a bit and then disarmed them by agreeing with them that they should be frustrated. Fans make the team what it is.

I love that he basically told out of town fans to email him, and he's hook them up with 50% merchandise since they can't get up here for the sale.

Yeah. He alluded early in the interview when he was asked about the discount for online sales that people who knew how to get in touch with him got taken care of, but was more overt later. The 'email Howard' thing was an out for him I think; I'd expect he started to realize the flood of emails he'd start getting. |

Ted Black is an unbelievably good guy, and fantastic at what he does. I'd be shocked if he didn't personally respond to every email he receives about the merchandise.
