Karlsson ahead of Chara!!

armani 01-14-2013 09:11 PM

I have Karlsson at number 8 ahead of the Sedins and Kopitar.

GK 01-14-2013 09:13 PM

If I made the list I'd definitely have him ahead of Kopitar. Nonetheless, it's a pretty good list considering TSN made it.

MAK19 01-14-2013 09:14 PM

Crosby
Malkin
Stamkos
Karlsson
Weber
Datsyuk

Kezia 01-14-2013 09:23 PM

LOL @ Kessel

Hand us the ****ing Cup already.

Also: Parise is wayyyy too high.

Fenix Rises 2026 01-14-2013 09:33 PM

Took Karlsson with the 8th overall pick in my pool last week!

Kezia 01-14-2013 09:43 PM

I dont understand the Parise love.

playasRus 01-14-2013 09:44 PM

Lol Ovechkin has a few "mediocre" seasons by his standards and drops off everyone's radar.

Based on his play the last 2 seasons, he is way too high.

Consider his past accomplishments, he's probably just about right.

Kezia 01-14-2013 10:04 PM

I would have Ovechkin more around 25.

I'd have him even lower cause I don't think he's going back to pre-2010 level

Stylizer1 01-14-2013 10:11 PM

Good thing we didn't get Nash, Tsn says he's he friggin 35. :handclap:

I see Nash 1 spot below Spezza on that list.

It says he's 35 years old on their list page.

Qward 01-14-2013 10:26 PM

Karlsson at 11 and Pietrangelo at 28?

TSN obviously doesn't read these boards...

ReginKarlssonLehner 01-14-2013 10:58 PM

Karlsson would be 7/8 but overall the list seems pretty solid. We'll have Turris, Silfverberg and Lehner in there soon enough don't worry guys :sarcasm:

QuietOnTheFront 01-14-2013 11:17 PM

I thought Karlsson couldn't play defense.. :sarcasm::sarcasm:

Lenny the Lynx 01-15-2013 07:58 AM

Where is Brian Lee on that list?
Good list otherwise though

He was a given at being the best. It is like not adding cookie dough to the list of best ice creams. You know it is the best, just list the runners up.

TeamRenzo 01-15-2013 08:12 AM

I would have picked Malkin ahead of Crosby but other than that the top 5 makes sense to me. I am willing to bet EK will be in the top 5 next year.

I think Spezza is ranked lower than he should be, he will be top ten in scoring again this year.

Rhino Reilly 01-15-2013 08:16 AM

I don't get how they can have Toews at 6 and Bergeron at 35. They're real similar in terms of value and skill imo. Toews is obviously the 'sexier' player but I don't think a whole lot separates em.

Bergeron continues to be one of the most underrated players in the league.

I think the fact that Toews is a Captain factored into it a little.

Rhino Reilly 01-15-2013 08:34 AM

From all accounts, Bergeron is more or less the B's captain. He just doesn't get to wear the C.

Tuna99 01-15-2013 08:35 AM

I was super impressed with Dan Girardi last year in the playoffs, he's a better player then Kessel.
