Thank you much!
Amazing, thanks! This is keeping me from studying..
"Oilers are a useless franchise"
Personally I've never read from this website before, but after reading this laughable article I wanted to see what everyone else thought about it. I'm looking forward for the Oilers to get playing to prove this idiot wrong. Also mods I've never created a thread before so feel free to change anything, if I've made a mistake.
It's a Canucks fan making a random hate article.
Like it would be so hard to make one for them.
"Eberle is Horcoff 2.0"
hahaha Oh boy
They should just go back to making fun of people who dress horribly bad. I loved their magazine back in the day and they do a lot of good work but this is just junk.
EDIT: In regards to that trash Vice article, so nobody thinks I'm "pffting" the awesome BlueBelle.
Vice is great..
This column is... yeah. Who knew Vice had a sports section?
i won't even waste my time clicking on the link.
LOLworthy article. He makes Canucks fans look bad.
Also, he sounds mad. If he's getting mad when the Oilers suck, oh boy, look out when they get good.
Canucks fan eh?
And he has the "Stones" to call Edmonton a useless franchise? I suppose if your definition if useless is 5 cups, 7 Stanley Cup appearances, and 7 retired numbers (6 of whom are hall of famers).
I'd be interested to hear what he thinks of Vancouver, then.
Is it me?
Of every fanbase in any sport, the Canucks fans come across like they have severe 'Napoleon Complex'.
I mean we have our banter with the Flames fans, the banter with Leafs fans. They seem like very typical sports banter between rival fan bases.
But the general banter with Canucks fans really seems like they're over-compensating for something. I mean who trashes their own city?? TWICE?
Redwings have been the most successful and dominant franchise of the past 2 decades, and even they don't have remotely the same level of hubris the Canucks fanbase has.
I like vice but that article was just garbage. Every point the writer makes it just awful and shows very poor understanding of hockey and how to build a team. I stopped reading when the writer said Eberle is Horcoff 2.0.
Clearly a troll for hits.
Only thing noteworthy in that entire article is that David Staples is a borderline stalker, and is apparently making all Edmonton media look bad.
I wouldn't even paint the Canuck fanbase with the same brush as that loser.
Like Tarus said, just trolling for hits.
I could make a article about Sedin eathing Marchands punches/getting knocked out by Keith's elbow/Riots/Having worse season in the late 90's than the Oilers have ever had, and completely just rip into them.
But whats the point? You aren't an ANGRY HOCKEY NERD, you are just an ANGRY NERD with a slander article.
That article was priceless! I can't wait to start winning so people shut up.
...what am I thinking. When we start winning they'll all cry about how we were gifted players because we tanked on purpose. Sweet, sweet jealousy.
Thanks for all the great reading.
