He did the Senators a big favour when he retired with a year left on his deal. I am happy they added to the management staff with a former Senators player.

What ever happened to him after the whole 'beat up my wife' incident ?

Assault is a wide ranging issue, it could of been anything from beating her up to pushing her because she was threatening to swallow a bunch of oxycotton.

Didn't it all stem from not letting his daughter leave the house so he pushed her and his wife into a room and locked the door so they couldn't leave?

charges were dropped a month later and i think there were some other stipulations (he had to move out for a while i think? Memory here. The only articles i can find are no longer up - should be november 2010ish if you want to search).

I think you may have mispelled "Jason Smith named Erik Karlsson's defensive partner"

aragorn 01-16-2013 06:04 PM

Not surprised, he has been working with some of the Ottawa defence & prospects on & off since he retired. Good for him & good for the organization, I assume he sort of replaces Luke in Ottawa.
