All three were already playing for Anaheim's AHL affiliate in Norfolk.

Rosehill is absolutely useless, AHL tough guy I guess?

That's a lot of toughness in Norfolk.

Parent's last chance...another player that peaked during the WJC.

If his back didn't completely go to ****, he'd be a good steady D-man.

Parent was nothing short of pathetic last year with the Canucks. Horrible.

No denying it. It always sucks when it's due to an injury, but it is what it is. He was barely AHL calibre.

Who needs Staubitz, PLLL and Rosehill ?

As a fan of Rosehill you will enjoy him when it comes to rivalry fights. He is one hell of a pugalist.

I didn't mind Rosehill on the Leafs, as long as he stays in the 13th forward that you slot in for gritty games he fills his role fine.

Good for Rosehill to get signed, just glad its not with the Leafs again.

The best part about Rosehill is that he puches as good with his Left as his Right; unfortunately every fighter in the league is aware of that now.

His first few NHL fights where he shifted to his other hand were really entertaining.

The novelty is gone.

They're all AHL signings, I wouldn't expect any of them to see NHL time.

Well, I could see one of them step in to the 13 spot if Staubitz goes down, but otherwise that's dead on. This is mostly for Norfolk.

Parent was a beast in his Guelph days.

Yeah, Parent is 100% at most an AHL guy now. Van was his last chance island, as with barker, and he proved that he wasn't even a top pairing guy in the AHL. Best of luck in Norfolk.

Seemed like such a safe bet to become a solid, second-pairing type. Remember thinking it was a good pick by the Preds at the time.

Rosehill will be liked there.

They are potential callups because if Anaheim had no plan for them, those 3 players would have remained on AHL contracts.

Also, a little observation related to the Ducks : Luca Caputi was still a RFA when the lock-out was declared. He refused his qualifying offer (a two-way NHL/AHL) during the summer and he signed a AHL contract in September in order to play in the AHL for the duration of the lock-out.

However, things didn't went well for Caputi in Norfolk and he got demoted to the ECHL. It's not a big deal but he probably would have been in a better position had he signed his QO.

And those days are long gone. Completely bottomed out. Could barely stick in the AHL last season. You see players with that kind of junior pedigree and the mind boggles as to what happened.
