Rangers Prospect Poll: #13 (TIE-BREAKER)

Another tie-breaker, this time it's a 3-way. Andersson and Foggy got 17 votes each, and Noreau got 19 votes. The polls will close automatically after 24 hours and whoever comes out ahead, even by a single vote, has won the tie-breaker round.

Voted for Samuel Noreau because a big, tough defenseman can have the most impact for a team. In addition to big fists, he's also decently mobile for a guy his size and can see the ice well. Finally, he's been showing very consistent improvement since he was drafted, which is key for a prospect.

Noreau

Andersson for upside.

Noreau. Big crease-clearing defenseman which is an org. need

Beacon 01-18-2013 06:57 PM

Great, it's now tied between Noreau and Andersson. We better not have another tie with a need to move to a two-way tie-breaker after this one.

Noreau, again.

Fogarty. I don't see Noreau having a future with the Rangers considering McIlrath fits the need of a crease-clearing defensemen. Andersson, haven't heard too much about him. Think Fogarty will develop into a solid bottom 6 player for the Rangers.

Look at Hartford. They have one crease-clearer in McIlrath, but the other 40 minutes, it's a stampede in front of the net. Having two guys who can clear the crease isn't bad at all.

Andersson

Andersson for upside. Playing in the SEL at age 18 is impressive as well.

Sammy the Bull.

Looking dead even again between Noreau and Andersson. I doubt anyone would object to just having a tie for #13 if it end up tied and moving on to #15.

Beacon 01-19-2013 02:58 PM

Looks like Foggy is out, but it's just one vote difference between Calle Andersson and Sam Noreau. Only 3 hours of voting left.

Beacon 01-19-2013 06:21 PM

Calle Anderson won by what by now should be considered a blowout - 3 votes. Next round: http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh....php?t=1327557
