Montreal straight up getting overlooked because of their loss to Toronto while playing without their #1D...I think the habs can get pretty close to #8 and even sneak in if all goes well

Lol, I'm sorry man but outside of Price, Montreal look down-right horrific. The Leafs themselves were far from playing a good game yet still won. Even with Subban, I'd be extremely surprised to see Montreal make the playoffs.

Montreal doesn't have any worse chance than Ottawa IMO. Once we get Subban back we will have a better D considering you guys lost Cowen and Philips and Gonchar aren't getting any younger. Add that to the huge edge we have in net and I don't see any advantage you have at forward putting you head and shoulders above us.

Edit: Before you come back with "oh but you lost on opening night, on pace for 0-48-0" it was a new coach with a new system without our number one D. If we don't improve at all from last night we will easily finish in last place.

I hope the Sabres make it! I am dying to watch some playoff hockey! Since I haven't been able to see a Buffalo Bills playoff game in 13 years. ^_^

Well it was a trick question anyways. None of them make the playoffs.

Then they draft Mackinnon, Jones, Drouin, Barkov, & Lindholm :naughty:

AngelDuck 01-21-2013 02:05 AM

I think the Ducks will sneak in as an 8th seed.

Me too! Good choices ;)

zytz 01-21-2013 10:07 AM

I feel like Minny is the only clear choice. Lots of teams will be on the bubble this year, I think. Should make for an interesting race.

Pi 01-21-2013 10:28 AM

Amazing that Tampa Bay gets so many votes. They have a terrible defense and no goalie.

I don't see them in the playoffs. I think Carolina is a better bet in the East to make the playoffs.

No Fun Shogun 01-21-2013 10:40 AM

Buffalo, Minnesota, and Tampa Bay.
