Trade I got offered.. take it or leave it?

So I am in a Yahoo fantasy league where the stats being tracked are: Goals, Assists, +/-, Hits, PIMS, Powerplay Points, and Shots.

The trade being offered is:

Ovechkin
Backstrom (WSH)
Boyle

for

Malkin
Pietrangelo
Kesler

The only reason I am considering this trade is because Kesler is injured. My roster is:
F Evgeni Malkin
F Patrick Sharp
F Marian Hossa
F Ryan Getzlaf
F Milan Michalek
F Drew Stafford
F Shane Doan
F David Desharnais
F Brayden Schenn
D Zdeno Chara
D Alex Pietrangelo
D Dan Hamhuis
D Oliver Ekman-Larsson
D Ryan McDonagh
Util Kyle Okposo
G Ryan Miller
G Miikka Kiprusoff
BN Jamie Benn
BN Matt Read
BN Brooks Orpik
BN Ryan Kesler
BN Jakob Silfverberg

Another thing to take into consideration is that I will have to put Backstrom into my lineup, replacing one of my current guys. (Same with Benn once he signs).

So is the gap between Backstrom and the worst player in my starting lineup enough to make up for the gap in Ovechkin + Boyle and Malkin + Pietrangelo?

No way, Malkin is going to be one of the best forwards in the league, Pietrangelo is one of the top d. Boyle is great but everything else is super lopsided against you.

I hate the deal. Ovy owners already panicking btw. you can prob get a good FA C to replace Kesler.

Its a risky deal. I would stay safe and keep Malkin. If Ovechkin lights it up like he is expected to this year then its a good deal because if he does well so will Backstrom (same line) That being said... Ovechkin must have a good year. Im hoping he does since I have him in one of my leagues haha.

I would not give up Malkin.

Thanks for the input guys. Malkin was my pick for MVP and Piets my pick for Norris this year.. so obviously my first instinct was to say no but I started second guessing myself seeing as Kesler is injured haha..

Stand pat.

Malkin
Pietrangelo
Kesler

is the better group.
