Who will win the Pacific Division?

Kings or someone else?

AKL 01-22-2013 03:28 PM

Kings

Tkachuk4MVP 01-22-2013 03:36 PM

Someone else.

Gliff 01-22-2013 03:50 PM

I think the Ducks have a shot assuming Getzlaf and Perry are PPG and Lydman/Hiller keep up their 10-11 form.

TheJuxtaposer 01-22-2013 03:50 PM

I'd say Kings without hesitation if it weren't for the Mitchell and Greene injuries. Now I'm not so sure.

I don't think you're allowed to write first posts like this. Some of the Minnesotans get upset and try to force you to include writing Minnesota in the first post.

Anyway, the pacific is a toss up, I'll vote in a few months when it becomes clearer...

butteryslugz 01-22-2013 04:22 PM

kings and ducks finish a close second. ducks look to be in good form under boudreau, although its very early in the season

Stealth JD 01-22-2013 04:25 PM

someone else. it would not surprise me to see the Kings miss the playoffs altogether. after all, they qualified on the last day of the season last year. if they get off to a crap start again this year (entire possible after the Stanley Cup party and very few guys playing overseas), there may not be enough time for them to make a run and get back into PO position.

DuckEatinShark 01-22-2013 04:54 PM

Am I the only one that says Sharks? We have as good a chance as anyone when Burns and Demers comes back.

LA didn't win their division last year. And their roster has stayed the same.

The way I see it, it's a 4-team race with Phx, SJ, LA and Ana.

Habs 4 Life 01-22-2013 10:23 PM

Sharks

project free 01-23-2013 04:11 AM

stars
kings
sharks
ducks
coyotes

KEEROLE Vatanen 01-23-2013 04:15 AM

People way overrating the Kings...they were the 8th seed last year and barely made the playoffs, yes they won the cup, doesn't make them favorites to win the division, with the extended cup hangover

Exit Dose 01-23-2013 04:17 AM

Sharks for me.

C'mon, give Dallas a LITTLE credit here.

Don't forget we led the Pacific for a good chunk of last year before imploding completely, and are off to a decent start in this shortened season.

It's anyone's division, way too early to tell.

Really solid division. Getzlaf/Perry had really poor seasons last year, Anaheim is better than what they showed last season. Dallas is getting better, Phoenix, SJ, and LA are all obviously regular playoff teams.

tony d 01-23-2013 09:07 AM

San Jose

Vankiller Whale 01-23-2013 09:10 AM

I wouldn't be surprised if any of those teams won it, but I'll say San Jose for now.

Statisticians would call it regression to the norm, rather than an implosion.

Truth.

Pacific will be the closest division like it is every year. But I really don't see Phoenix winning the division. Or LA with the way they're playing.

Stars look good, but without Jamie Benn?? That would be quite the story.

No Fun Shogun 01-23-2013 01:40 PM

Think San Jose will win it, with LA finishing 2nd, Dallas finishing 3rd, and the other two not mattering as they won't be in the playoff discussion.

Le Magnifique 66 01-23-2013 01:58 PM

San Jose

illpucks 01-23-2013 02:46 PM

Funny how ducks, kings and sharks were in a dead heat until San Jose scored 6 goals on Edmonton in 1 period. Then SJ jumped to 50% of all votes.

VerySuperFamous 01-23-2013 02:48 PM

San Jose or LA.

Dallas could really surprise people, especially once their star player, Benn is back. Lehtonen is a very good goalie, their defense is iffy (though could hold) and they've got a very underrated top 6 forwards.

But I'd say Sharks.
