Did this make anyone else mad?

I know Stepan isnt a tough player but a there was plenty of time for Mcquaid to pull up and he just flat out cheap shots Pyatt FROM BEHIND.
For the life of me i cant understand how a player can watch his teammate get railed and just skate right by the opposing player without doing a thing.

After Pyatt scored? He didn't hit him from behind. That was a normal reaction and he was skating in to congratulate him on his goal.
