GAME #4 - Canucks @ Ducks: Predux - Jan 25 - 7:00PM PST - SPAC
|
I'm sure AV will do the right thing and start Schneider on Friday, right?
...Right? I'm also worried about a surprise return from Andrew Ebbett. |
Yaaaay, happy birfday Baby Berty.

I think AV has faith in him. |

I hope the Kassian train continues on its path of death and destruction. The next three games could be interesting for Kass. On the road in 3 tough buildings vs big teams. |

I hope he goes back to Luongo. I'd like to see both starters get warmed up for the season.

Happy Birthday, Kassassin!
Looking for a revenge game and a win! |

Happy Birthday Zack! Play Schneider again, he's the teams starting goalie and he just played a hell of a game.

Schroeder will be in the lineup tomorrow night, and deservedly so. Hopefully he can build on his solid debut. I would also bet Schneider gets the start. If I had to guess this weekend, I would say: Schneider tomorrow, Luongo on Sunday, Schneider on Monday. |
Oh great, Kassian just got a year older.
That window just keeps getting smaller and smaller..... |

First road trip of the season will hopefully help the team focus on the basics. I feel like a few of the guys are squeezing their sticks a bit in trying to shake off the rust.
Would be nice to get a measure of retribution against Anaheim for Game 1, though. And for God's sake - someone keep an eye on Selanne (and Winnik, I suppose) |

Canucks 4-2
DSedin Bieksa Higgins Burrows |
Kassian with one assist, 2 hits
Schroeder with his first NHL goal Raymond with his second goal Daniel with the first goal of the game 3-1 Good guys |
We should trade Kassian while we still can. Maybe it's just me, but it feels like age has cost him a step.

Some career numbers vs. Anaheim...
Jannik Hansen - 15GP, 3G, 8A, 11Pts Daniel Sedin - 43GP, 16G, 21A, 37Pts Henrik Sedin - 45GP, 7G, 26A, 33Pts Of course, none of that is as frightening as Selanne's numbers against the Canucks. Teemu Selanne - 73GP, 40G, 48A, 88Pts |
Looks like duck is on the menu boys.
Yee haw, lets get this done. |
