ATT: These are NOT grades, yet where they rank on MTL Roster (8 meaning they are they best in that category of the 8, 1 being to worst of 8)
Dude. Positional numbers aren't additive.
Just for the sheer fun of it... how much do you think Karlsson is offensively?
FYI, Markov has the 4th highest PPG among ALL dmen since the last lockout (2005).
So I wonder what would a dmen need to do to get a 9 or a 10...
Stop posting your evaluation threads. among the 17 you named in the previous list... there were almost a third of them who WEREN'T undeniably better than Subban.
I did not factor in people with no common sense. Also, stop being a homer. P.K would have a hard time cracking top 15. So donít tell me 1/3 of my other list is inaccurate.
Assuming Ottawa has 8 defensemen.
Karlsson would be 8 offensively and probably 1-2 defensively.
I'd rate Subban 7-7 on our team, and that's behind Markov, a Dman whom I think is better overall than Karlsson.
FYI, Mtl finished 10th in GAA last season, despite their 15th place in the EC.
Karlsson might be undeniably better offensively, but not overall. Overall, it's highly debatable.
